When the sky says get off the water… but the fish say one more cast. ⚡🎣

Tenkara, thunderstorms, and some seriously dramatic skies. There are worse ways to spend a night on the water.

Know when to call it—but enjoy the view on the way out.

The trout has 9 lives 😵‍💫

Throwback to this absolute battle! 6 fish in one pool and we managed to pluck one out. Probably one of the craziest battles you will see 🫣

I tried to net it myself but the trout shot off downstream. The first hook pulled but the second hook got it in the back. Zero control in fast water, all luck and a patient net man @trout_core 😂

@dirtyflys hot head pheasant tail doing the damage 🔥

Big Browns slurpin’ mice! @triplehfly and @sltenkara took myself and @_staticlabs_ out night mousing for the first time. To say it is addicting is an understatement! To top it all off, Tenkara beat western 3-0!!! #daddybrown #flyfishing #tenkara #nightfishing #troutonthefly

How many trout can you spot 🤯

A chaotic video of me trying to keep a solid rainbow away from big browns @leos_flicks was targeting! Fish numbers were super impressive, lost count at the first pool 😂

Big thanks to @nickdunndeee for the tips, absolute legend!

The best sight-fishing 🤯

Throwback to earlier in the season. Out and about exploring some remote landscape with @ana_visan.

The trout numbers were low but the sight fishing was unmatched once we found them!

@dirtyflys deadmanwalking doing the damage as always 🔥

Chrome brown trout 🪩

Earlier in the season when the salmon were running. Never know what to expect fishing the braided rivers!

I saw a salmon during the day so I was hopeful. Ended up catching this hard fighting brown though 🔥

Caught on @dirtyflys franks flash back 💪

Trout was a paid actor 🤨

Sometimes the shortest casts are the hardest. Definitely something I should practice!

This solid trout couldn’t resist a bright egg. Luck was on our side for the fight though 😂

Good effort from @leos_flicks to get it in the net 🔥

Throwback to a quality day fishing with @trout_core! A lot of fish, with plenty of laughs and insane views. Couldn’t ask for much more 🙌

Satisfying eat 🤯

Throwback to this big old brown that was just chilling out waiting for an easy meal! Had to really put the pressure on to ensure he didn’t get out into the current.

@dirtyflys blowfly was hard for the fish to resist 🔥

What is this scary bird? 🤨

One heck of a few days with @leos_flicks hunting for big browns. Managed to land a few of these fresh rainbows along the way for a bit of fun!

Always such a good scrap! I love taking the tough route to try and net the fish 😂
