Big fan of private vows before the ceremony. It’s sometimes hard to put into words how much someone means to you, how much this moment weighs, and how grand of a life you dream of together for the future. Let alone the pressure to say it all in front of a crowd.

First looks with private vows is the perfect way to balance. You get to say all the things you want to say. Your photo team turns our ears off and purely captures the moment, the emotions, the reactions. And you get to have a solo moment with your soon to be spouse.

Behind the scenes of this glowing split meadow. Layers of work go into the mechanics and transport on pieces like these. Check out my process from under the most important plant on my farm, the shade of the walnut, to the walnut at @triplesranchnapa. Each arrangement for the couple coming together under the shade of the tree to bless their union and love with plants, heat and magic.

A year (and three days) since A + K’s color-soaked September celebration

Their day was lively in every sense, with bold florals, a rainbow of dresses, and a packed dance floor. But what we loved most was how, in the middle of all that energy, they kept finding their way back to each other. Private vows in the garden, a look across the room, stepping away for a moment alone together before jumping right back into the party.

A day that felt vibrant and full without ever losing sight of what it was all about: the two of them.

Jerry Kennedy delivers a captivating performance of “As” by Stevie Wonder, beautifully complemented by the soulful vocals of Omega Rae, Natalie John, and Ronnie Smith.

With its joyful groove and timeless promise of enduring love, “As” is a beautiful song choice for couples who want to bring everyone together and end their celebration on a soulful, romantic high.

Performed live by Radio Gatsby - 100 years of great music for unforgettable celebrations. #luxurywedding #weddingband #bayareaweddingband #napawedding
