A day in my life as a manager, but this one was extra special! ❤️✨

At the Diversity Festival in Amersfoort, two worlds that mean so much to me came together.

From watching @showduo_rik_aimee shine on stage to seeing them join my teammate @remicaris from @triplex.gymnastics for an important panel talk about diversity in sports and creating safe spaces. 🌈

As @showduo_rik_aimee manager and one of the founders of @triplex.gymnastics, being the connecting link between these two worlds made this moment even more special.

Seeing friends, passions and meaningful conversations come together reminded me why I love what I do. 🫶🏽

Two worlds, one shared message, and one proud manager! ✨

A Look Back at the Gay Games 2026 🌈🇳🇱🇪🇸
What an incredible week it was!

Get Involved Valencia had the absolute pleasure of organising bike tours and hiking trips for the Dutch Pride & Sports delegation, an amazing group of 400 Dutch athletes who came to Valencia to compete, connect, celebrate and simply have a fantastic time.

And what a group of heroes they were! From dragon boat racing, gymnastics and golf to swimming and so many other sports. Dutch athletes were represented across the Games. 🌈

In between all the competitions, preparations and excitement, our tours gave people a chance to slow down for a moment, meet others, laugh together and discover a little bit of the beautiful city of Valencia. Throughout the week, we received so many lovely messages from athletes sharing their preparations, their achievements, their nerves, their victories and, most importantly, the fun they were having.

And one thing we heard again and again was how much people had fallen in love with Valencia. Many of you told us you would definitely come back and honestly, that makes us incredibly happy.

Because this is what the Gay Games are all about: sport, friendship, inclusion, freedom, connection and celebrating who you are. 🏳️‍🌈

To all the Dutch athletes: thank you for bringing your energy, courage and wonderful spirit to Valencia. You made the city feel a little more colourful and a whole lot more connected.

And to Pride & Sports Nederland and everyone who made this incredible journey possible: thank you for bringing 400 amazing people to our city and for creating a bridge between the Netherlands and Valencia 🇳🇱❤️🇪🇸.

We are incredibly proud to have been a tiny part of your Gay Games experience.

Keep sporting, keep laughing, keep connecting, keep being exactly who you are and most of all, enjoy life and all those beautiful little moments along the way.We hope to see many of you back in Valencia very soon.

A very, very big hug!

From my humble beginnings at @overgravitygymnastics six years ago it's been quite the journey! Now #over40andthriving I'm amazed at what my body can learn and do. From no gymnastics ability to winning gold at @valenciagaygames2026 I'm so proud of myself. I've made some great friends and connections along the way and it's been an honour to be able to participate in these competitions (thanks @triplex.gymnastics) alongside some truly amazing gymnasts and all round great people! Looking forward to @eurogamescdf2027 and @perth2030gaygames and everything in between. 🤸🏽‍♂️ 🥇

Thanks to all my coaches from overgravity curent: especially the patient @the_german_gymgineer who deals with my mental blocks, and past coaches @matteoflipcoach, @davidegymnastics, @velociwraptor, @itsjoelhatfield, @alice_rosano, @sara__bei who have all helped me improve over the years and help me acheive the unimaginable!!

This is my first poster after the Gay Games in Valencia 2026. Guys, I want to thank you all for your support. Each one of you was a key piece to our group success: the logistics, creating choreographies, projecting gymnastic elements, sharing and spending time together like brothers, the dinners, breakfasts, and walks we experienced—all of it will remain in my heart like a great treasure. I truly adore you. Thank you. A million thanks also to our sponsors. @prideandsports @triplex.gymnastics @f2f.latam @nike #teamnetherlands @valenciagaygames2026 the organization from @maxxvanaarssen @vlthomas_ @remicaris thank you guys. And special note: my love Thomas van loon I wouldn’t have achieved this without your support, thank you my love, and kisses to my whole team NL

this was my floor routine from the event finals at the @valenciagaygames2026!🥇🏳️‍🌈

normally, floor music with lyrics isn’t allowed in artistic gymnastics, but this competition used an different (inclusive) code of points: more freedom, and men’s & women’s gymnastics were combined. i had sooo much fun during these competitions!!

i loved performing on “je t’haine” by @loicnottet_officiel: my all time favourite artist❤️ it would be really cool if he sees this but small chance haha🥲 (maybe if we tag him???)

what do you think: wouldn’t it be cool if lyrics were allowed in “normal” competitions too?
