Steps that refuse to announce themselves, then a forest that arrived a year early.
Side A counts silent steps so quietly the floorboards agree not to tell, loses a microlith before you notice, sketches four corners with no furniture, hides a small modernist house in the woodland, skims the surface and refuses the basement, and runs a film that never quite developed. Side B ties up under its own wind at a jetty grown on purpose, sees space invaders double and misses them, builds a reef from harmonics no one may stand on, leaves a green needle that will not say which word it is, threads blood through a low-lit labyrinth, and dates a midnight forest 2025 inside timestreams dated 2026.
Overall mood: Quiet, slightly uncanny, and carefully unfinished — full of small stones, half-cleared paths, and trees that have not been told which year they are in. Perfect for dusk listening, houses hiding in woods, or sitting still while the next spool still waits.

Side A
Mood mist: steps that refuse to announce themselves, stones smaller than a minute, squares that have given up being rooms, a house hiding in trees, land seen only from above, a film that never quite developed.#trevladsounds #electronicmusic #ambientmusic #spacemusic #mixcloud

A sea of grey that arrives before the coastline decides to be there, then a planet that kept the heating off.
Side A fogs the unlit lighthouse, files the middle of nowhere under the average of the average, watches a building take the hint, holds its breath in a Marienbad corridor that will not let you leave, asks if it is conscious now at the altitude where the light stops answering, and leaves the missing puzzle piece missing. Side B keeps the silent water from rippling on cue, leaves wormcasts on the lawn as agriculture and omen, notices the getaway too late and closes the car door very softly, skims a stone across a garden pond that remembers Atlantis, approaches a curve it is never allowed to touch, and dims the cabin lights on a cold planet with a bowl left by the airlock.
Overall mood: Contemplative, slightly uneasy, and quietly unfinished — full of silent rooms, almost-arrivals, and maps that share a shoreline they should not. Perfect for dusk listening, corridors that will not end, or sitting still while the lotus holds its breath for the title of the night.#trevladsounds #electronicmusic #ambientmusic #spacemusic #mixcloud

New pollsign OUT TODAY via @triplicaterecords

https://pollsign.bandcamp.com/album/asymptote

Asymptote is a long-form piece I've worked on since 2022. It's gone through many different iterations, forms, and identities. I nearly lost it all, but whilst taking two steps back, I pushed forward and finished it off. Inspirations: FAX +49-69/450464, ambient vaporwave, field recordings, Korg M1/Triton patches, and that sort of floating, reflective synth ambient new age music you might find by random chance.

I want to thank Michael over at Triplicate Records for the opportunity and the visual starting point. With his initial imagery, I worked through and also designed some really slick packaging for the vinyl/CD copies. These are available now on elasticStage.
