week 16 just dropped and it’s one of the more vulnerable stories I’ve written. But also, so many fun adventures!! Come for the nature, stay for the feelings 😂 full video on YouTube, link in bio :)

2023 opened a door and I walked fully through it. In the last 12 months I’ve transformed my mind and body, embraced an entirely new way of living, left the city, left my job, left my partner, and let the universe remove any misalignments it needed to. For years I slept walk through this life, in complete survival mode just trying to keep everything “fine”. But we don’t do “fine” anymore because we weren’t well while doing it. “Fine” is a half life, one where you are good enough just to get through the day and a pretty restless night only to do it again and again until you die. Fuck being fine.

If 2023 taught me anything it’s that we are the creators of the world we live in, and if you don’t like it, then change yourself first and see how that changes the world around you. I’ll tell you what, the moment I started saying “no”, everything and everyone shifted around me. Those who could adapt, adapted, those who couldn’t essentially died in my life because they are gone. That’s the energy, that’s the move. 2024 is already incredible because I decided it will be, and there’s nothing that can change that.

Photos from the year starting when I decided to live & some of the beautiful humans who’ve decided to embrace life alongside me. Extra love for @osman626 who has been such a rock through all of my transitions this year 💛. And of course, lots of photos of me bc we’re glowing up and it is nice to recognize the range & change ✨💛

August owes me nothing, but I owe it everything.

august filled me with so much joy and pleasure I almost forgot that I’m in the middle of a huge transformation.

I found myself diving under the full moon and not resurfacing till the next one. Under its milky glow I found the strength to bring to surface the pieces of me I’ve pushed down.

August brought me wonder, delight, inspiration, excitement, and deep feelings of being cared for.

But like all things in life, there’s always a balancing side. In the sweetness and play, august reminded me of what matters to me and where I still struggle, giving me the chance to operate with this knowledge. Give me a good time, teach me a lesson, and let me work it into my life going forward. We definitely learned :)

Here’s to the subtle shift in the season, the last days of summer, and knowing full and well that what feels good and what I need are not always the same things.
