💼 Weekly Gratitude 💼 August 18th - August 24th *walks around with my griefcase* .
🌱 doing What The Float with @_killer_bee_ and @troberle | it feels silly and freeing to dance in public with glowing headphones - and having the beat drop at the perfect moment to fit the environment is everything I needed
.
🌱 having @palante_nyc end of the summer event; it was intimate, the poets of the evening m o v e d me in a way i needed [raw™ & spiritual™]; we had arroz y condules, mac n cheese, wings and mixed green salad (s/o to the chefs: mi madre and @mercwiththemicpodcast ) ↪ also @jackieines for doing the chapbooks and curating the climate change powerpoint w. @kaylammarie and all around being an emotional support system this week

🌱 visiting my fav cafe spot: Urban Backyard (📷: 5 - 7)

🌱 learning two separate choreography from @_killer_bee_
and @mreber26 | i had a great time and im glad i didn't let my terrible mood stop me from moving my body - i already kno being present in my body is the best way to get over what I'm feeling, i have to consistently push myself though to be in a place to take that step .
🌱 bartending @foxybelleafriq monthly event at @wow.cafe theatre: Untamed Burlesque | i made tips, got to see performers live in their power and i saw a beautiful lap dance that had me S H O O K .
🌱 in the middle of this week: i played a playlist that i made for kayla (the first one cuz there's like seven now 😂) and i took a shower, sang at the top of my lungs, took my time moisturizing when i got out and did a tarot reading: [ i asked what I should focus on and i got the King of Pentacles + i asked what should I be aware / wary of and i got the Eight of Pentacles + i asked how do i succeed and i got the king of wands ] - i only do tarot readings when im in a positive place / when i know i can create a positive space for myself - taking care of myself unapologetically especially after being warned about being rude, unforgiveness and bitterness is why this moment stands out so much for me this week

Just when I think my prior birthday has reached its peak happiness, my family, friends and loved ones end up outdoing themselves. This weekend was full of an overwhelmingly indescribable amount of love and happiness from all of my favorite people in the city and the other side of the country. Every single one of you made me feel like the most loved and special person in the universe with your messages, calls, facetimes, cards, laughs, treats, and the most thoughtful gifts I have ever received, the memories we made this weekend and over the past quarter century I’ve been alive on this earth. I would not be me without all of you. Thank you so much for all that you’ve all done for me and for the beauty, love and magnificence you’ve all contributed to my life, not just this weekend, but throughout the entirety of our friendship. I love you all so dearly. This is going to be the best year yet. This is 25. 💕
