Cleared for Takeoff: the best seat in the house. 🤍✈️

Last night I sat in the backseat of a small plane and watched my daughter live out her dream. Willow wants to be a pilot — so a dear friend of mine, a pilot at the airline I fly for, took us up. She showed Willow her hangar, answered every question, and then we flew for two hours over the sound, out across the San Juan Islands, almost to Canada, chasing the sunset the whole way.

But I wasn’t watching the sunset. I was watching her.

There aren’t many women in aviation — but the ones you meet will give you the shirt off their back and take a little girl up in the sky just to show her it’s possible. That’s who I want my daughter surrounded by.

If I’ve done one thing right, it’s this: she knows her dreams are worth chasing, and I’ll be in the backseat cheering every single time. Go help your babies chase theirs. There’s no better seat in the house. 🤍
