“My Love; Chosen.”

To my cast: Thank You for being the chosen ones for this journey. Thank You for choosing to share your Oil, the Oil that you may have not known you had. It’s precious and I pray your light never falls dim to who and what you have ‘Authority’ over. Thank You for trusting the vision, it meant the most. 🤍🫂

For those that saw, Thank You for receiving what was intended for your story. I pray that it was exactly what you needed to know that Your Greater is Coming.

With Love,
Ms. Shanna

✨ Meet Nasya Joell, one of the choreographers behind this year’s Young Choreographers Showcase, ROOTED… From the Ground Up.

Known professionally as Quantum, Nasya is a Bermudian multi-medium artist whose work spans movement, creative writing, and film. After over a decade of competitive dance training in ballet, hip hop, jazz, tap, and more, he developed his own signature contemporary fusion style.

Most recently, Quantum completed a somatic attachment therapy certification and plans to merge healing practices with movement through future programming. One of his proudest achievements was serving as Dance Captain for Up With People.

This piece marks the beginning of his creative reintroduction to Bermuda.

One word can sum up this video: gratitude.

Behind the scenes of the 40th Premier’s Concert, there were countless hours of planning, choreography, composition, design, rehearsals, set up, tech runs and more.

We sincerely thank everyone who participated in this event. Whether you performed onstage, coordinated behind the scenes, provided technical support or helped backstage, you are deeply appreciated.

Last, but certainly not least, we would like to thank the beautiful audience who packed the auditorium and encouraged our young performers with enthusiastic cheers and applause. Your support shows young creatives that the arts are a vital part of our culture. Bermuda has incredible talent, and we are grateful to the community for nurturing young people’s creative aspirations.

We’re already looking forward to next year’s Premier’s Concert. Watch this space for more details in the coming months!
