Wanted to share this unit even though there is some finishing work pending. Adding a white oak built-in unit to this family room has completely transformed the space. The natural warmth and elegance of the wood create a cozy and inviting atmosphere, while the custom design perfectly blends functionality with style.#custom#whiteoak#interiordesign#woodwork.

Please enjoy this Before & After on a rainy day with this continued restoration of this 1880 home & (personal project) @tropeahomes
I’ve shared a portion of this before but we just took it up a notch with a simple step of fresh paint suitable for a concrete porch , that was previously stained even after power washing @behrpaint
.
It feels like a new, clean design & fresh start to do any future add ons. ✨#porchlife

Are we a 90’s landline? Because we’ve gone cordless (mainly) 🔌🚫

Things are coming along at the Long Branch studio! Special thanks to our friends at @tropeahomes for bringing our beautiful wheel tables to life. 🤩

Still space in our first session and plenty of one time classes to come try. 🌞

“Happiness is the consequence of personal effort. You fight for it, strive for it, insist upon it, and sometimes even travel around the world looking for it. You have to participate relentlessly in the manifestations of your own blessings. And once you have achieved a state of happiness, you must never become lax about maintaining it. You must make a mighty effort to keep swimming upward into that happiness forever, to stay afloat on top of it.”
-Elizabeth Gilbert

Finding stillness & doing the little things …
The stairway had carpet when we moved in ( very old ) it covered the steps and banister that appear to be original from this 1880 home.. we restored the original floors after we moved in and I have walked by the chipped paint and brown stain for months and months…. I prob only noticed but it was every other one…
Means nothing but also everything in the details.
It felt relaxing
I hope you can find relaxation in the still nothingness details too ❤️ do it

Progress on an old Estate dear to our hearts ♥️
We knew this house had it in her but it needed a SERIOUS makeover/ restoration to the outside…
We also used @sherwinwilliams Loxom Masonry Paint & Primer #notanad … Voila! 👌 this videos is with about 90 % done including the soffits in a fun subtle shade of “evening shadow “
More to come…
