The Haven on Gabriola Island 🌊✨ This place holds something sacred — a sense of peace that you can feel the moment you arrive. I’ve spent time here walking the shoreline, breathing in the salt air, and feeling that deep stillness that Gabriola so effortlessly offers. Known as the “Isle of the Arts,” Gabriola is filled with wild beauty — sandstone cliffs, hidden beaches, old-growth forests, and a creative heartbeat that runs through the community. It’s no wonder The Haven became a world-renowned retreat center — a space for healing, growth, and transformation for more than 40 years. Now listed, this 6.77-acre oceanfront sanctuary offers 16 buildings, 426 feet of walk-on waterfront, and endless potential — for retreat, regeneration, or a visionary new chapter. A place where forest meets sea, and the soul remembers how to breathe. 🌿 📍Gabriola Island, BC Listed with Colliers Canada #TheHaven #GabriolaIsland #BCRealEstate #CoastalSanctuary #RegenerativeLiving #IslandLife #WellnessRetreat #HealingSpaces #LuxuryRealEstate #NatureHeals

Beyond grateful for the time spent at our men's retreat. The memories we made on that barge at Stave Lake, sitting around the fire with my boys, Kade and Levi, are ones I'll cherish forever. So much more than just a trip—this was a core memory in the making.

A Branding company @evolvebrandingvancouver saw the potential in LLIV and really worked to support the establishment of a sub brand called the WOMAN OF POTENTIAL AWARDS. While there was push from some @sfualumni_ Spokes people commissioned to speak at the evening event, LLIV Pr at the time would schedule meetings with Alumni Reps who engaged ownership to maintain an awards component to the network platform but reconsider the “woman of potential” or even the concept that a Lady is “Lucky”. Given the production had went through a few years and evolution as well as the branding company stepping up with an awards sponsorship, the Woman of Potential Awards was launched and kept, while the Lucky Lady name didn’t actually change, but there was a shift in slowly marketing the brand as LLIV. With a range of creatives connected to the platform; do you think the Awards sub brand should return in the next LLIV presentation? Budget depending? Should there be more categories? As there are artist performances; should it open a range of music awards? While the conversations surrounding the Branding and Rebranding efforts of LLIV has grown over the years, it’s amazing to see the diverse communities that have been connected as well as spotlighted through this platform. Scouted out of @simonfraseru Association of Latin American Students. Natalia would outcompete the costars of LLIV with her Not Just Sandwiches initiative supporting communities in need living in the DTES. It was the first time of slowly conceptualizing the Brand ambassadors not only leveraging the platform to promote themselves, but also engaging the community through acts of social advocacy. Though history was made presenting this award. Even connecting the recipient to the Award sponsor and facilitating working to make sure the award process and various transfer systems improves. There are some who want to see this component grow, a selection committee, and much more. Though unable to see this concept be a presentable component of #LLIV19, it still speaks major volume to see Brands connecting with Ambassadors through this “Party”. Do you think #LLIV is truly more than just a fun “party”?

🎄🥊 Hey everyone! Merry Christmas! Lately, I’ve been making some incredible friends in the boxing and wrestling world, @terrortj @tropixjay @taylortheimpalermot @thepriestesslee @grant.gladish and let me tell you—these folks know how to bring the drama, the action, and the fun. So, we decided to combine all that energy with some holiday spirit to create something truly special for you. This is our Christmas gift to you—a gritty, action-packed story with a little heart, a lot of punches, and a reminder of what the season is all about: standing up for what’s right and helping those in need. I had an absolute blast working with these talented fighters to tell this story, and I hope you enjoy watching it as much as we enjoyed making it.
