Day 135: How to Not Be a Psychopath

Maybe the reason you’re so good at understanding everyone else is because, deep down, you’ve always wished someone would understand you the same way.

So you become the safe place.
The listener.
The one everyone leans on.

But somewhere along the way, you forgot to ask who was doing that for you.

Today’s reading reminded me that self-love isn’t becoming a better person. It’s realizing you’ve been abandoning yourself while trying to make everyone else feel understood.

Before you spend another day saving everyone else, ask yourself one question:

When was the last time you showed up for yourself the way you keep showing up for everyone else?

Maybe the person you’ve been waiting on…
has been you all along.

If nobody’s told you this today, I love you. I believe in you. If you want to do hard things, you can do hard things. You got this. And come back tomorrow so we can all be a little less crazy together. I love y’all. Peace.

BARCELONA to the city and everyone that has helped me out there I have mad love for you! Gonna miss this place tremendously.
