The Hackle Stacker is a way of tying in the hackle not to dissimilar to a parachute style fly but has it’s own set of advantages. So if you haven’t tried tying a hackle stacker fly yet grab some hackle and give it a try, you might just find your new favorite fly pattern.

The Green Drake is a big bug out west and I love throwing some big bugs that are easy to see, but trout also love big bugs because they are a huge meal for them. So basically it’s a win win since we both can agree that Green Drake’s are a great fly to use.
