𝐭𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐬 𝟏𝟏 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐅𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐝… 𝟏-𝐁𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐈𝐎𝐍+ 𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰𝐬 𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫. 𝐬𝐚𝐰 𝐢𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐢𝐭’𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧. even back then, i had this feeling it was going to be one of a kind. from the streets of la to a 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦 straight out of #𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬, here’s a little throwback to where it all started

fast forward to today… and somehow, Fancy and Oppenheimer have something in common. 𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐩𝐡𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐬? sure. but also, 𝐆𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐎𝐥𝐝𝐦𝐚𝐧, who plays president truman in Oppenheimer—the same president who awarded the medal of merit to 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐩𝐡 𝐖. 𝐊𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐝𝐲, the discoverer of plutonium… 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐢 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐝

oh, and at some point 𝐆𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐎𝐥𝐝𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐥𝐬𝐨 𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐅𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐲. 11 years later, we both ended up in a movie about physics. 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐧𝐮𝐭𝐬!!!!

funny enough, i actually predicted Fancy would hit 1-BILLION views before ‘never gonna give you up’—and it did. 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞’𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐚 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤.

✦ des𝐓𝐑𝐎𝐘er of Worlds: 𝐌𝐲 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭-𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐜.

here’s to 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐩𝐡 𝐖. 𝐊𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐝𝐲, a scientific titan and great American hero whose discovery of 𝐏𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐮𝐦 is still shaping the world today.

from 𝐧𝐮𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫 weapons to space missions, 𝐏𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐮𝐦 transcends time 🚀, remaining one of the most talked-about and transformative elements in modern history.

since its premiere, 𝑶𝒑𝒑𝒆𝒏𝒉𝒆𝒊𝒎𝒆𝒓 has sparked conversations that have only deepened over time. it will remain as relevant as ever. 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐦𝐲 𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐊𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐝𝐲 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐡 𝐚 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥.

thank you to the highly prestigious 𝐊𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐚𝐬 𝐀𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐧𝐢 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐞🏛, a publication with a readership of 𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐟 𝐚 𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞, and to the great 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬 𝐋𝐚𝐳𝐳𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐨 for highlighting this story and my role in it.

𝐉𝐚𝐲𝐡𝐚𝐰𝐤𝐬 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭: 𝐈 𝐒𝐧𝐮𝐜𝐤 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧! 😅

looks like my “Oppenheimer” article decided to dunk its way into the sports-heavy feed at the 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐃𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐊𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐚𝐧 (@universitydailykansan ). i might not be shattering backboards, but i’m pleased to see to watch Joseph W. Kennedy’s tale in addition to all of this Jayhawk action!💪🏽🏀

through my research, i discovered how Kennedy’s time at KU shaped his career and served tremendously to the Manhattan Project and the discovery of 𝐩𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐮𝐦.

huge thanks to 𝐀𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐡 𝐒𝐲𝐞𝐝 (@aminahsyed_ on X ) and 𝐁𝐫𝐲𝐧𝐧𝐚 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐭 (@BrynnaLynne24 on X) for the incredible feature.

& again, to the great 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐞 𝐋𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐞 (@charlielamareoz ) for what has to be my favorite—non-favorite for many—black & white picture, with the inside joke that i don’t even remember taking it.😮‍💨

@troy.bronson in the August 2023 issue of @stylecruze men edition @mencruze . Front and back cover + interior pages. Part 2 of 2.

Fun Fact: Troy and I did this photoshoot at UC Berkley, where he currently is a student.
Which is quite funny when you know that he played in Oppenheiner, which took place in Berkeley (if you know the story or saw the movie, you'll know why). In the movie, Troy plays Joseph W. Kennedy, phD. student who co-discover plutonium.

Congrats on this amazing accomplishment!! 👏🏼
