The hilarious Mr. Higgins ("he's just as crazy as I am") & Troy. ⠀
In the 2nd picture Mr. Higgins did NOT want to go inside so he hid behind a tree. ⠀

Meet Troy - probably the nicest man I ever met. Troy is known as an award winning rodeo clown and dirt bike racer. But since a couple of years he’s just as much if not more “a humbled soul on the path of truth and purity becoming one with what is .. “. ⠀
⠀
Documenting some days of Troy’s life at the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo show was amazing. ⠀

God is good all the time!
76 years of rodeo in the will rogers coliseum. It’s been amazing to be apart of the @fwssr family the past 5 years and get to close the coliseum out on Saturday was something I’ll always remember. At the same time, I’m excited for the new chapter in the @dickiesarena come 2020.
Praise the Lord for giving us strength and protection over these 34 performances! I had a lot of fun these past 3 weeks but also was tested mentally, physically and spiritually. I’m thankful for the 3 guys I got share the arena with. They are some of the best in the business but also some of my best friends. Always there to offer encouragement or positivity. I wouldn’t want to enter the lion’s den with any other crew. “Brothers and sisters, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him. It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭1:26-30‬ ‭

Met Troy Lerwill aka Wild Child last fall at #PDC ripping and popping wheelies on GSL. Was able to catch the rodeo/his show Saturday night with 2 of my assistants, and today had a cool/rainy roll around the park road. Bummed the trails were closed, I could use some #MTB pointers! Happy trails amigo, until summer or next fall’s circuit! And make sure you check out his dirt bike act—just bananas! #sunadventuresports #NeverKnowWhoYoullMeet #IronBuffs #BikeAndRodeoFolksAreTheBest

Maybe hiding in the giant bright red barrel wasn’t the best choice. #maninthecan #rodeoclown #fwssr #bullriding #rodeobumphotography #cuethejawsthemesong

I met @troylerwill today while he was on day 29 of his solo bike journey from Louisiana to Key West. I left our conversation with a new friendship and a deeper appreciation for others who are following their path in this wild life. It doesn't matter what you do, as long as it's something that makes your eyes light up when you talk about it and inspires others to do their thing too. Take time to meet someone new. Take time to really talk to someone and learn about their story. Human connection is what this life is all about, isn't it? .
