Don’t roll out your mat yet, though. The way back to flexible hips doesn’t start by stretching ↓

Most tension doesn’t come from a lack of flexibility

—it comes from self-protection.

It’s a protection strategy the body uses when your nervous system perceives a threat.

And that could even be a deadline or a stressful email.

But no one taught us how to come back to safety again.

And the truth is:

More safety = more flexibility.

More flexibility = better movement.

Better movement = happier life.

In the hips:

→ a lot of tension accumulates

→ and no one taught us how to stretch them. Not even in the gym at school.

In fact, in a lot of exercise practices they are simply… not taken into account.
