View and buy original or prints at this link: http://tiny.cc/izj6101. My granddaughter, Jasper, my daughter, Challen's daughter, is a ballet dancer. She's doing all kinds of ballet performances. And so I selected a figure from three of her different ballet performances, and put them in one painting, along with a luminous I guess it’s a sun, a luminous shape, like a moon shape. The figures who were dressed in blue, shades of blue would be lovely against these luminous blues that go from a dark, blue on up to the cerulean blue at the top. More of a sky blue.

Bonjour, mes amis! 🇫🇷

I enjoyed opening my Paris lecture with, “Bonjour, mes amis!” and then my presentation was simultaneously translated into French, including the title « L’axe intestin–cerveau–peau » (the gut–brain–skin axis).

France gave us so much in one week…

Our trip began in Nice, exploring the Côte d’Azur with my daughters—swimming in the Mediterranean, sunset boat rides, wandering museums, discovering medieval villages, and, of course, un peu de shopping. We embraced the beauty… and survived the heat! ☀️

The grand finale was Paris, where I had the privilege of presenting at the ICNM World Congress and connecting with colleagues from 55 countries.

Now we’re on the train back to our Cambridge home for encore du travail et du plaisir.

I’m leaving France feeling deeply grateful for time with family, meaningful conversations, breathtaking beauty, and new opportunities.

Merci la France. À bientôt. 🇫🇷❤️

View & purchase original and prints at this link, http://tiny.cc/pu56101 I did the last painting, the painting with the ballet dancers, had been so detailed and kind of tedious, that I decided, I wanted to do something abstract and wild and crazy? And so, I started throwing shapes and circles and lines onto this canvas, and then I started thinking about aliens, and I decided to call it Alien Adventure. At first, I thought about calling it Alien Invasion, but I didn't want it to be a threatening kind of invasion. So I just called it “Alien Adventure.”
