Software I have recently added to my touring workflow.
In the last year or so I have added several new things to my workflow. These work well for me, but maybe not for everyone. But if you have been curious about any of these, feel free to ask me any questions.

An honest pitch for Truck Packer, from the guy who built it.

A single semi runs eight to ten grand a week. A lot of tours haul one more than they need because nobody planned the pack before load in. I spent ten years loading trucks off chalk marks and a spreadsheet, so I built the thing I wanted. Plan the pack in 3D, share it with the crew as a link, and know it fits before the first case rolls.

It costs 28 bucks a month. Seven day free trial at truckpacker.com. Email us and you get me or David, not a support line.

Why I love Truck Packer

Being able to share a “Crew View” of your truck pack so that your driver, techs, hands, loaders, or anybody can see it is super useful!

Being able to update it at any time is also really helpful!

Shout out to @adsound91 for the QR code idea

Truck Tetris, but actually winnable. 🚚🧩

Today, we’re announcing our integration with @truckpackerapp so you can build your show in Stagera, click once, and see how your cases land before you hit the dock. This reel is just one tiny slice of what this integration can do; more nerdy logistics magic is on the way.

This means you can now get in ChatGPT and have it work on your truck packs for you. Or in this case, I’m using it to port information back and forth to our LiDAR app that’s still in Beta. If you’re in interested in getting on the test flight for that let me know!#logistics #mixer #musicproduction #tourlife #fohengineer
