The Dance Arena, Season 1. ‘25-‘26

Small fry / mini hip hop
Large group ages 12-14

Extremely proud of how far this group has come. We didn’t have the perfect start to our year last year but we overcame it and that’s what matters! Here’s us performing “7pm Friday” one last time on the @truetalentcomp stage! 🤍🩵

@showemhow2move with the 🔥 mix thank you so much for elevating our piece!

I know it’s a late post, but I couldn’t resist posting this solo 🩷🦋✨ (post 2 of 2)

This past season, I had the opportunity to work with Olivia on her first-ever tap solo!!! I was so excited and extremely emotional. I never doubted this girl, but she still exceeded any and all expectations. I am so proud of her hard work and determination with this solo and beyond thankful for her trust and vulnerable spirit.

To Olivia: You are one-of-a-kind. Your elegance and grace shine in everything you do and are highlighted in your presence onstage and in the studio. Never, ever doubt yourself or lose ✨faith✨ in yourself or your abilities. You can and will do anything and everything you put your mind to. It’s been a pleasure to see you grow into this young woman and strengthen your roots in the tap dance industry. The best is yet to come for you. ❤️

Lastly, to Olivia’s parents: Thank you for taking a chance on me and allowing me to share this season with your daughter, as well as your whole family. Your trust and commitment made this season so special and truly were the backbone of our success. I can’t thank you enough for what you guys have done for me. Your support has opened doors for me that I didn’t even know were attainable at my age. Genuinely, this has been the honor of a lifetime. 🩷

🪩HAPPY NATIONAL DANCE DAY🪩
Throwback to THE XPERIENCE at our Season X Summer Intensive. Our dancers had a special “shopping day” and got to pick skincare, makeup, haircare, nails, and some big ticket items to kick off our 10th Anniversary Season. (And of course dumplings!) We also gave out 14 SCHOLARSHIPS! Thank you to these amazing competitions/conventions for providing our dancers with these incredible opportunities to continue furthering their dance training. 🩵 #onlythebestforthebest

SIRENS 🧜🏻‍♀️🥹
This piece started the season as The Tides, and by Nationals it had become Sirens. A piece that will always hold such a special place in my heart.

The idea behind this dance had been living in my mind since the beginning of my career as an instructor. I’ve always been fascinated by mystical creatures, darker stories, and anything that feels both beautiful and haunting. It wasn’t until Nationals 2025 when everything finally clicked. I ran with it, handpicked the dancers I could envision bringing these characters to life, and was given the opportunity to create this entire world from scratch.

What made Sirens become everything I imagined was the commitment behind it. Every dancer wanted the same goal. They cared about the story, took every correction, worked through every change, and put genuine heart into making this piece successful.

I was honestly terrified to put something so different onstage. To watch it be understood, appreciated, and accepted by our families, friends, judges, and the dance community in the way that it was, meant more than I can explain. I’m incredibly grateful I was trusted with the freedom to create this piece, but even more grateful for the dancers who trusted my vision and brought it to life.

Something that lived in my imagination for years became something real, and Sirens will forever be one of those pieces I’ll never forget. 🌊🖤
