Hey all, I recently decided to sign up for the Pittsburgh Boxing All Stars. I’ll be going through an 8-week boxing training camp leading up to fight night on November 21st, when I’ll actually step into the ring and put everything I’ve learned to the test.
My favorite part of the event is raising money for a charity of our choice, and I chose UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.

That choice is pretty personal for my family. When our daughter was born, she spent about a week at Children’s, and the staff, care, and support she received there were absolutely amazing. It’s something my wife and I will never forget, so when I had the opportunity to raise money for a cause through this event, choosing Children’s was an easy decision.

I’m also doing this for myself.
I want to get my body back into shape, challenge myself, and see what I’m capable of. Boxing is definitely going to push me outside my comfort zone, especially having to figure out how to make certain things work with a prosthetic, but that’s part of why I wanted to do it.
And I figure if I can go out there, train for eight weeks, and get into a boxing ring with one foot…
Anybody walking around with two feet, you guys are running out of excuses! 😂🥊
I’ll be sharing updates throughout training, and I’m planning on doing some UFC card-related fundraising along the way as well.
If anyone would like to donate directly to UPMC Children’s Hospital, I’ll put my fundraising link here:

There are also tickets available for fight night if anyone would actually like to come out, support the event, and watch me try not to get punched in the face too many times. 😂 If you’re interested in tickets, just reach out to me.
There is absolutely no pressure to donate or buy anything. Even sharing this post, spreading the word, or following along with the journey means means a lot.

November 21st. Let’s do this. 🥊❤️
