Sometimes kids walk into the gym carrying more than a basketball…. pressure, expectations, self-doubt, a bad day or things we may never know about.

That’s part of what we want CLUTCH20 to be. A space where mistakes are part of learning. Where confidence can grow.
Where teammates uplift each other. Where the game they love can feel like the game they love.

When you step through those doors, leave what you can behind. Play free. Be present. Be a kid!!!

💙LOVE & UNITY🧡

Creating a space where kids from different teams and different communities can come together, leave the pressure behind for a few hours and just enjoy the game they love.

They get to compete, build confidence, make their own decisions and learn from each other all while creating memories beyond their regular season.

Some lessons need coaching. Some need a whistle and sometimes, they just need a court, a ball and the freedom to hoop. #clutch20club #ballislife #youthbasketball

Thank you to every parent and guardian who continues to trust us with your kids. Some travelled from Milton, Hamilton and across the GTA to Scarborough to be part of this run.. we don’t take that support lightly.🙏

A huge thank you to our volunteers and everyone who stepped in to help from check-in and the scoreboard to keeping the games moving, food and clean-up. Thank you to our videographer @9filmedit for capturing the moments and memories we get to keep and to @mr.5more who generously covered the Uber to get our food from Brampton to Scarborough.

A special thank you to our backpack sponsor for making sure our athletes headed back to school with something special.… and to all of our sponsors and supporters who helped with the court, food and everything behind the scenes… your generosity allows us to keep creating these experiences for our youth.

To all of our young athletes heading back to school… bring more than your game with you this year!! Bring confidence, discipline, kindness and compassion.

Be a good teammate everywhere you go. Include people. Encourage someone who needs it. Lead with kindness because you never truly know what someone beside you may be going through.

Basketball will teach you a lot but who you are off the court matters just as much as who you are on it.

Have an amazing school year. Keep working, keep growing and look out for one another. LOVE & UNITY 💙🧡 #clutch20club #youthbasketball #ballislife #torontobasketball #loveandunity
