Summer 2026 ✅

Pilsley, Chatsworth and Baslow. Three locations. One summer.

From pitch, to education, to delivery — to hopefully shaping some young lives for the better.

Individual posts and shoutouts to the incredible people who have helped make it all possible are incoming, but for now…

I am incredibly proud of that one. 🤍

Tour stop 2 sees us go flying into science week!

Water wonders was our daily theme, where we spent the morning in teams with the challenge of making a boat that could help our elephant stay dry!

🌟 Investing in our people to create more inclusive experiences.

A huge well done to the team at TrYumph Summer Camps for completing our Understanding Additional Needs Award. 👏

By continuing to upskill our workforce, we are building the knowledge and confidence to better support children and young people with additional needs, helping every participant feel included and empowered.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at our Pilsley Open Day yesterday. It was fantastic to welcome so many families, answer your questions, and give you a look at everything we’ve been working towards.

A special thank you also goes to our incredible team. Your hard work, energy and dedication made the evening such a success, and we’re so grateful for everything you do.

Now the countdown really begins. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back and get an unforgettable summer underway when we open our doors on 27th July.

🏏☀️ What a fantastic day at Pilsley School Sports Day!

Today, myself, Laurie and Ella had the absolute pleasure of supporting the amazing staff and children at Pilsley with their annual Sports Day. From cheering on races to helping events run smoothly, it was brilliant to see so much energy, teamwork and determination on display from every child involved. 💙

Days like today remind us exactly why we’re so excited for what lies ahead this summer at the incredible Pilsley School. We cannot wait to fill the holidays with even more fun, adventure, sport, creativity and unforgettable memories with the local community. 🌟

A huge thank you to everyone at Pilsley for having us involved — and this is only the beginning! We’re looking forward to supporting even more school and community events together in the future. 🚀

Yesterday, Uplift Education hosted Day 2 of staff training for the incredible TrYumph team — the final stage of preparation before an exciting summer ahead ☀️

The evening focused on refining systems, strengthening teamwork, and ensuring every member of staff is fully equipped to deliver an outstanding experience for every child attending our programmes this summer.

Together, we explored activity delivery, daily routines, safeguarding scenarios, behaviour support strategies, communication, and how we can continue creating environments where children feel safe, confident, included, and inspired to thrive.

A huge thank you to every member of the TrYumph team for the passion, professionalism, and dedication you continue to show. The culture we are building together is something truly special ✨

With training now complete, we are officially ready to welcome children to our Summer Academies starting on 27th July 🚀

We cannot wait to get started.

On Saturday night, Uplift Education hosted Day 1 of staff training for the incredible TrYumph team — an evening focused on learning, growth, and building even better support for the children and families they work with every week.

Together, we explored safeguarding, health & safety, behaviour and environment management, understanding child psychology, recognising triggers, and creating spaces where every child feels safe, included, valued, and understood.

A huge thank you to the TrYumph staff for their passion, energy, and commitment to making such a positive difference in children’s lives every single day ✨

We can’t wait for Day 2 on June 20th 🚀

All the pennies are counted!

Every year the proceeds of our little fell race are split between Baslow St Anne’s CofE Primary School, Baslow St Anne’s Church buildings restoration fund and a charity chosen by the school - which this year is @sheltercharity, the national campaign for homeless people.

They will each be receiving just over £1,700 as our total amount raised this year was a glorious £5,130.69. Not bad for a couple of hours run in the mud!

Many, many thank yous are in order…

Firstly, MASSIVE THANKS go to James Turnbull and all the team at @Outside in Hathersage for their continued support. And of course to @rab.equipment.uk. We are very honoured and humbled to be part of their Winter Race Series.

The race would not happen without the huge and loyal team of race organisers, enthusiastic marshals, prize donors, café volunteers and bakers, local businesses, community members and groups who all came together to make the day run smoothly. You know who you are ✨✨

Thank you to you all, to name a few: Peak Ales, Chatsworth, Fitism, Baslow Physio, Bakewell Physiotherapy Group and Becky Lyne at TrYumph, plus voom nutrition. The Baslow Bell Ringers, Bakewell Bakery, Whittington Moor Printing, Baslow St Anne’s Church, Baslow Primary PTFA, Curbar Primary PTA, Peak District Scouts, Edensor Tea Rooms.

Last but certainly not least THANK YOU to all the RUNNERS 🏃🏃‍♀️🏃🏽‍♂️who took part in this year’s race (two whole weeks ago now, can you believe!). We would not have raised these incredible amounts without your participation and generosity.

Here’s to next year!
