Andromeda Vision… but make it GROWN UP. 🖤

After teasing this build earlier in the week, it's finally time for the big reveal!

And I think this might be one of our most understated Vision builds yet. 😍

The specification:

🔥 AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
🎮 AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT 16GB
🧠 32GB DDR5
🏠 Fractal Pop 2 Vision
❄️ TRYX Turris Air Cooler

£2,399.

Ever since seeing the TRYX Turris at TechMax 2026, I've wanted to build something around it.

And this is the result.

No RGB. No flashing lights. Just clean lines, premium components and the kind of gaming performance you'd expect from a 9800X3D and RX 9070 XT.

Who says a gaming PC needs to light up the entire room? 😂

This is exactly why I love our Vision range. We get to create something a little different.

And personally… I think this one's an absolute beauty. 🖤

A PC Cooler with a holographic screen? 🤯 Wait, what? TRYX have been at it again... Swipe ⇦ to get up close and personal with my latest build featuring the TRYX Holo CPU cooler!

🎥 Before we talk about that, the build is now live on YT. The 3D Hologram effect can only be fully appreciated in moving image form, so what are you waiting for? The vibes are off the chants! Link is in stories and bio.

Already this year we’ve seen some really cool tech from TRYX, including the Turris Tower Cooler with its huge LCD screen, not to mention prior to that the Panorama with its oversized curved OLED display. We’re always ready for TRYX to push the boundaries and HOLO certainly does just that!

The Kanali software makes operating Holo really easy, along with GIPHY integration to minimise the effort required to customise the screen into something which looks great. I do really like the FOBR 360mm fan bar which comes as part of the AIO too, this moves plenty of air and stands out with its own unique ARGB identity.

For this build we wanted to flex HOLO in a standard case format as opposed to a panoramic fish tank style to see how the viewing angles came to be. The 60 degree swivel allows you to dial it in still, especially with larger cases such as the NZXT H7 Flow which is a big win.

PC Build Specs:
Cooler - TRYX HOLO
Fans - TRYX FOBR 360
CPU - AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
GPU - ROG Astral RTX 5080
Case - NZXT H7 Flow
Motherboard - ROG Strix B850-F Gaming WiFi Neo
RAM - Kingston FURY Renegade 64GB DDR5
Storage - Kingston Renegade G5 2TB
PSU - TUF Gaming 1000W Platinum

Holo has only been on the market for a short time now, and for an industry first, the hologram idea is very cool and we would love to see how this could evolve even further over time. Perphaps next time a larger version? fans with holographic screens too? Who knows!

What’s your thoughts on this build? Could you see the TRYX Holo in your PC? Let’s chat in the comments!

Special thanks to @tryxglobal for supporting this project, and as always to @asus_roguk & @kingstontechnology for the ongoing support 🦾

Are Fabric PC Panels Actually Dust Magnets? ⚙️

Cases featuring fabric panels have brought a much warmer, Scandinavian furniture feel to desktop setups, but they often face a lot of backlash online. The most common criticism is that adding fabric to a PC will instantly trap dust, clog up airflow, and turn your rig into a nightmare to keep clean.

In reality, that concern is almost entirely unfounded. Most fabric panels used on modern cases are treated with anti static and stain resistant coatings, meaning they do not hold onto dirt any more than a standard fine mesh dust filter. Cleaning them is as simple as running a lint roller or vacuum attachment over the surface for a few seconds.

Because the fabric sits directly over intake areas, it acts as an effective secondary barrier that catches loose debris before it can ever reach your fans or internal components. Far from ruining your thermals, it actually helps keep the inside of your system much cleaner over time. Would you ever consider a fabric finish for your next PC build?
