if i could leave a little note somewhere in the middle of your life, somewhere between an ordinary tuesday and a day you'll remember for years, i'd probably tell you this: i hope you never feel like you have to be anything more than the person you already are. there's something so lovely about the little glimpses of you that find their way into my days, and i wonder if you ever think about how much of yourself exists in moments you probably forget five minutes later. the smiles, the silly little things, the parts of your day that don't make it into a caption or a photograph. those are the moments i wish you could see through someone else's eyes, just for a second.i know i'll never know every version of you, and i think there's something quite beautiful about that, too. there's a whole life happening beyond the little pieces i get to see, a million stories i'll never hear and memories that will always belong only to you. but somewhere in between all those little glimpses, you've become someone i'm genuinely happy i came across. not because i need you to know my name, or because i expect anything in return, but because sometimes finding a person whose presence makes you smile is a lovely thing all on its own.if this little corner of the internet could tell you anything, i'd want it to be that you deserve to experience your own life with the same warmth you bring into other people's days.and maybe, years from now, i'll hear a song that reminds me of this little chapter, of these edits, of all the moments i chose to keep, and i'll smile knowing that somewhere along the way, being your fan became a small but beautiful part of my own story. i think that's what i wanted to say all along, frey. out of all the people i could have come across, i'm glad life somehow led me to you.

another year of you, freya my frizzy and loml 💌🎉🐢🧚🏼‍♀️
and while the world might celebrate the passing of another year, i can’t help but celebrate something much simpler: the fact that you exist,it’s difficult to explain how someone you’ve never met can become such a lovely part of your life, how a voice, a smile, or a little glimpse of someone’s world can find a home in your heart without ever asking for one. but maybe some things aren’t meant to be explained. maybe they’re just meant to be felt. and if there’s one thing i hope you receive today, it’s a little piece of all the happiness you’ve unknowingly given to others. i hope you grow into every dream you’ve ever been afraid to say out loud. i hope you meet versions of yourself that make you proud, discover places that make you feel alive, and experience a love that never makes you question your worth. most of all, i hope you never become so busy growing up that you forget to enjoy the little girl inside you who dreamed of everything you have today. you deserve a life that feels just as beautiful as the future you’ve been working toward. happy birthday, freya skye. may the world give back to you, in a thousand different ways, all the light you’ve left in other people’s lives.

sometimes i wish i could gather all the little things i love about you and turn them into something you could hold in your hands. maybe then you would understand that you don’t have to do anything extraordinary to be someone extraordinary to me. you don’t have to be the brightest person in the room, have all the answers, or become someone the world has never seen before. you can simply exist, grow at your own pace, make mistakes, change your mind, and become a thousand different versions of yourself, and i think i’d still find something beautiful in every single one of them. there’s a certain kind of tenderness in watching someone grow, knowing you’ll never get to witness every little moment that makes them who they are, but wishing them happiness through all of it anyway. i hope life gives you a million reasons to smile when nobody’s watching, people who love you without making you question it, and days that remind you how lovely it is to be alive. and if i could ever tell you one thing, just one, i’d tell you that somewhere in this enormous world, there’s a heart that has learned to find a little more beauty in it simply because you’re here. i don’t think i’ll ever find the perfect words for that, but maybe that’s okay. maybe some feelings are meant to be bigger than anything we could ever say ⭐️

there’s something about hearing you sing that makes me wish the world could be quiet for just a little while, long enough for everyone to understand what i hear in your voice. not because it’s perfect, but because there’s something so beautifully human about it, something that makes a song feel less like a collection of words and more like a feeling you’ve been carrying around without knowing how to explain it. and maybe that’s why i love this cover so much. there’s something almost bittersweet about a song that speaks of wanting to be seen, of wishing someone could look past everything the world thinks it knows about you and find the person underneath it all. i wonder if you realize that, when you sing, you give other people a little glimpse of that feeling, too. you make it easier to understand emotions we sometimes struggle to admit we have. and i hope you know that you deserve the same kind of understanding you unknowingly give to others. i hope someone looks at you on the days when you don’t feel particularly special and reminds you that you never needed to be extraordinary to be worth loving. i hope you get to experience the kind of happiness that doesn’t need an audience, the kind that stays with you long after the music ends. because your voice may be what first made me stop and listen, but the person i hope you get to be, beyond every song and every dream, is what makes me wish you nothing but beautiful things. and if a song can make a stranger feel a little less alone, then maybe your voice has already done something wonderful in this world, in ways you’ll never even know 💌
