A train ride through Sri Lanka's green heart 🚂🌿

The hill-country railway journey is more than just a way to travel. It winds through misty mountains, tea plantations, forest valleys, old stations, and the famous Nine Arch Bridge near Ella. 🏞️

Built in 1921 from stone, brick, and cement, the bridge still carries trains today. It stands between Ella and Demodara stations, surrounded by lush jungle and tea-covered hills. 🍃

✨ Useful tips for your visit ✨

🕒 Confirm the train schedule at Ella or Demodara station, as times can change.
⏰ Arrive at the viewpoint 20–30 minutes before the expected crossing.
📸 Head to the hillside paths for the best view of the full bridge and train.
👟 Wear good shoes, since paths can be steep, muddy, and slippery after rain.
⚠️ Stay off the tracks and move away as soon as you hear a train horn.
🎒 Travel light, because train aisles get crowded during busy periods.

The old stone bridge, the colourful train, and the surrounding jungle make this one of Sri Lanka's most unforgettable travel scenes. 💚

📍 Would you rather ride the train across the highlands or watch it cross Nine Arch Bridge? Tell us in the comments! 👇

Sunshine, soft curls, and a fresh trim. ☀️🐩✨

My grooming appointment is complete, and I’m rocking my fresh summer look with confidence. 🤍

A huge thank you to @dog_groomer_meli and @_barkandbone_ for taking such wonderful care of me. As always, I left happy, relaxed, and looking absolutely beautiful. ✂️🐾

Small in size. Big in charm.

Not the summer season I expected... unfortunately I have torn my ACL at the Freestyle Night last saturday. It was an amazing feeling to jump in the night with such an amazing crowd and it showed me one more time why I love this sport so much.

Now it‘s time to take care of my body

See you soon🫶🏼🫂

Ps: Since the accident this song is stuck in my head (to give me a little joy)
