This season, we step into EaKa EaHao — a story of identity, explored through the meeting of two elements, two people, two worlds.

These questions unfold through a beautiful new textile and the collection we are preparing to bring to the runway. A celebration of heritage, individuality and the possibilities that emerge when different worlds meet.

From the first spark of inspiration to the hum of the sewing machine, the studio is where it all begins. The final stitches are coming together, and we can hardly wait to share this story with you.

A celebration of identity, culture, and the art of adornment.

Headspaces explores the ways in which we express who we are through what we wear, what we carry, and how we choose to present ourselves to the world.

Through wearable art, sculptural headpieces, and the reinterpretation of cultural textiles, Thabo Makhetha invites you into a world where heritage meets contemporary design and personal expression takes centre stage.

This October, Headspaces finds a new home at AfricaRise, Melrose Arch, Johannesburg, as we build up to our SA Fashion Week showcase, incollaboration with @proudly.sa and @tsonga_rsa on 23 October 2026.

Join us on this journey as we celebrate African creativity, culture, and contemporary design.

The story continues on the runway.
