Behind every great athlete is a coach who believed in them, challenged them, and helped them see what was possible! 💪🏽

Today, we want to give a HUGE shoutout to the incredible college coaches who have poured into our athletes through the HBCU Showcase®!

Our events would be NOTHING without YOU! 🙌🏽

You travel from near and far, sacrifice your time, share your knowledge, develop talent, and most importantly, create opportunities for the next generation of student-athletes.

You don’t just show up to recruit. You show up to TEACH, MENTOR, INSPIRE, and CHANGE LIVES! ❤️

From the first whistle to the final handshake, your impact goes far beyond the volleyball court.

To EVERY college coach who has ever stepped foot in one of our showcases, THANK YOU! Thank you for believing in our mission, trusting our vision, and helping us bridge the gap between talent and opportunity.

We are building something special, and we couldn’t do it without you!

🎉 HAPPY NATIONAL COACHES DAY FROM YOUR BVC FAMILY!

Drop a 🏐 in the comments to show some love to these amazing coaches!

Congratulations to 2027 MB, Brooklyn Scruggs, on her commitment to Tennessee State University!

Why TSU?

“I chose Tennessee State University because the moment I visited, I felt like I was exactly where I was supposed to be. I’ve always wanted to attend an HBCU and experience the family, culture, and community that comes with it, and TSU gave me that feeling. I loved how welcoming everyone was, especially the team, and I could truly see myself growing both on and off the court here. Most importantly, TSU feels like home, and I’m so excited to call it my next chapter.”

I am extremely blessed and excited to announce my verbal commitment to play Division 1 volleyball at Tennessee State University!

First, I want to thank my mom and dad for being my biggest role models and supporters—I wouldn’t be here without the opportunities you’ve given me and the lessons you’ve taught me.

To my friends and family, thank you for encouraging me every step of the way. To my Alliance family, thank you for all the endless feedback, lessons in the gym, and for always believing in me.

To Harpeth Hall, thank you for sparking my love for volleyball, and to my teammates, thank you for challenging me daily and always having my back.

Above all, the biggest thank you to God for blessing me with this life and guiding me along this path.

Lastly, thank you to Coach Sutton and Coach Vic for this incredible opportunity to be a part of your program!

GO TIGERS! 🐯💙
