🕊️ Rest in Peace, Brother Valentino 🇹🇹

Today, we mourn the passing of another giant of Trinidad and Tobago’s calypso fraternity, Brother Valentino.

Known for his powerful lyrics and thought-provoking messages, Brother Valentino used his music to educate, inspire, and speak to the struggles and triumphs of our people.

As we remember his life and legacy, we’re taking it back to July 2026, when Republic Bank Exodus Steel Orchestra performed his iconic “Stay Up Zimbabwe” at the Lidj Yasu Omowale Emancipation Village during Pan By Moonlight.

A beautiful reminder of how our calypso and steelpan traditions work together to preserve our history and keep the voices of our cultural icons alive.

Thank you for the music, the messages, and the legacy, Brother Valentino. Your voice may be silent, but your music will continue to resonate for generations. ❤️

Rest in Power, Brother Valentino. 🕊️

Throwback Thursday to our visit with Ingrid, founder and natural skincare formulator behind Luxe Bliss by Adwoa an all-natural skincare line made without harsh chemicals.

Ingrid shared her extensive knowledge of natural skincare, educating visitors on the benefits of using plant-based ingredients and explaining how her handcrafted products help nourish and care for the skin naturally. Her collection of body oils, scrubs, and other skincare essentials is made using raw materials imported from Ghana.

Known for her warm hospitality, Ingrid welcomed every visitor with a smile, happily answered questions, and encouraged customers to sample her products, allowing them to experience the quality of the Luxe Bliss by Adowa range firsthand.

Reel News TT was pleased to highlight a local entrepreneur whose knowledge, professionalism, and commitment to all-natural skincare made her booth a standout experience at the Emancipation Village.
