Congratulations to Avionics lead Austin Hoff, Team President Tucker Jaudon and Advisors Dr. J. Hopwood, Mr. C. Walker – 2nd place on their project, “Design, Manufacturing, and Testing of a Data Acquisition System for Use in the Development of Control Systems for Fixed-Wing Unmanned Aerial Systems.”

BEST WEEK EVER!!!! new maroon camp has been such a blessing in my life for the past two years. i cannot put into words how it’s shaped me and made me into the person i am today. this organization truly has my heart 💚💚

forever grateful for @newmarooncamp 💚 this week has been full of laughter, love, and lots of caffeine, and i wouldn’t trade it for the world! seeing the smiles on campers faces after every event made every meeting and early morning so worth it!

Thank you @newmarooncamp for being a constant place to call home for the past four years, from camper to washed up counselor. This organization has touched so many lives and mine is no different! To say that I am forever grateful is a massive understatement because I am a better person because of you!❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

Thank you @nmc.cadets for allowing me to grow as a leader and friend over the past four years. Who knew a group of people could bond so much over a color. I will forever be blessed to have been surrounded by a group of people who pushes me to be better every day!💚

new maroon camp, you mean so much more to me than you could even imagine. you have taught me more than any class ever could. i have learned everything from leadership to event planning to how to function on no sleep and 5 redbulls. but most importantly, you taught me that family comes in all shapes, sizes, and colors. my two years as a p-staffer have come to an end, but i will carry them close to my heart forever. thank you for helping me break out of my shell. i would not be the person i am now without @newmarooncamp

let me tell you about New Maroon Camp 👏🏻👏🏻

this organization will always hold such a special place in my heart. coming back for my second year on staff reminded me in so many ways why New Maroon Camp is more than just a week in August. it’s a family, a tradition, and a chance to be part of something that changes lives — including my own.

i still remember what it felt like to walk into NMC for the very first time as a camper. i was nervous, excited, and unsure of what college would look like for me. but i met people who saw me, encouraged me, and made me believe that Mississippi State was my home. i never could’ve imagined then that I’d get the chance to stand on the other side, pouring into new bulldogs the same way and alongside those who poured into me !

to the seniors and third years— thank you. thank you for your guidance, for your encouragement, and for the way you’ve led with grace and strength. you’ve taught me how to be present, how to serve selflessly, and how to lead with heart. you’ve shown me that leadership isn’t about being the loudest voice in the room, but about creating space for others to grow. you’ve shaped me into a better staffer, but more importantly, a better person.

as I look back on this week, i am reminded that NMC is built on moments — the laughter during the shows, the energy and chaos of maroon madness, the calculating of how much caffeine we’ve all had, and the quiet conversations that mean more than anyone realizes. those moments turn strangers into friends, and friends into family. and they’re the moments i’ll hold onto long after my time with NMC is over.

New Maroon Camp, you have given me more than I ever could have asked for: memories I’ll cherish, people I’ll never forget, and a love for Mississippi State that only continues to grow. and hey ! i only crashed out from stress one time this week !

✅ A fun fact about Tucker is that he is incredibly flexible! He can do the splits and bend my knees 180 degrees! 🤸🏻‍♂️
🟢 Tucker loves NMC because: “The friendships it forges. Even now, almost four years since my time as a camper, I’m still great friends with the people I met during camp. And during my time on staff, I’ve formed even more friendships and grown closer with the amazing people I’ve worked with.”
