Hot take: Most brands aren’t building community.

They’re building an audience. There’s a difference.

Very few can answer one question:

Why would someone come back?

This is the part you can’t manufacture.

No ad campaign creates this.
No algorithm creates this.

Trust does.

The data is telling us the same thing people have been telling us for years:

They’re craving real connection.

Brands that understand that will win.

The best communities don’t make people feel like customers.

They make people feel like they belong.

An event gets people in the room. Community gives them a reason to come back.

This is why Kinnected Collective exists. Not to fill a room.

To create the kind of moments people remember long after the event ends.

People don’t become loyal because you have the best product.
They become loyal because they see themselves in what you’re building.

That’s positioning.

The strongest marketing strategy has never been an ad.

It’s someone saying, “You have to come with me next time.”

You can spend thousands marketing an event.

Or you can build something people can’t stop talking about afterward.

I wrote more about this in the latest issue of Positioned by Vertiq.

I’ve always been the girl with toooo many ideas 😭 for the longest time, I thought I had to pick one lane..was I a marketer? An event planner? Only a corporate sports girlie?

Turns out, I was never meant to choose. That’s why I created @kinnectedcollective as an extension of @thevertiq. Vertiq helps brands tells stories. KC creates spaces where people become a part of the story.

Our first supper club reminded why I started this. Intentional conversations, community and ain’t nothinggggg a good meal can’t fix

And to everyone who took a seat at our very first table…thank you 🥹

See you in August! I’ll save you a seat 🫶🏾

The first table was set! ✨

Good food. Curated pours. Real conversation. Beautiful people. The kind of connection that reminds you why rooms like this matter.

Thank you to everyone who took a seat and poured into the vision. Next supper club drops in August.
