So happy to welcome TUGBOYZ to the Eat My Sh*t Records family! EMS is proudly releasing their new EP "PROBRONO" as a limited edition CD! TUGBOYZ is an electronic hardcore trio featuring IDHAZ and Einar Birnir on vocals, with production by Brad Lincoln. Combining elements of Nu metal, grunge, hip hop, noise, and hardcore, TUGBOYZ is a homoerotic outburst of unfiltered expression. Their latest EP PROBRONO dives into realms of death, dystopian gore-core, breaking through disillusionment, and political disarray. Their newest EP features Gnar, whose punk informed noise-hop creates an explosive counterpart to TUGBOYZ. The EP also features our dearly departed Eobiont, who solders infernal dissonance, kapampangan and filipino experimental music, with catalonan hilot, hand-built industrial-robotic electronic instruments, and sonic fetishism. Pre-order yours: shop.eatmyshitrecords.info (link in bio) I am so excited to be playing with @tugboyzz TONIGHT in OAKLAND as part of the @ratskinrecords 20th anniversary festival! Come say hi, get freaky and pre-order a CD from me! 💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞 #emsrecords #wedontcareifyoulikeit #tugboyz #ratskinrecords outsidersoundsandvisionsfestival

Some scenes don’t really announce themselves. They just keep building, year after year, in basements, backyards, and borrowed spaces until one day you look up and realize there’s a whole universe there. That’s basically the story of Ratskin Records. What started as a tiny DIY label has spent the last 20 years quietly shaping the Bay’s experimental underground, always choosing risk, honesty, and community over anything polished or predictable. This Friday and Saturday, March 27 and 28, they’re celebrating that legacy with the Outsider Sounds and Visions Festival at the First Church Of The Buzzard. Two full days, with over thirty performances, plus art and food vendors. It’s not just a lineup, it’s a living snapshot of everyone who’s been part of that orbit. And the artists on the bill reflect that range. Especially the following two: AroMa, who feels less like a performer and more like a force. Pulling from Nina Simone, Grace Jones, even Screamin’ Jay Hawkins, they move between sounds and emotions in a way that doesn’t sit neatly in any genre. And then there’s SPELLLING, who’s been on a constant evolution from art pop into something way bigger and heavier. Her new record Portrait of My Heart leans into full-band energy, pulling in grunge, shoegaze, even flashes of nu-metal, all wrapped in a really theatrical, almost cathedral-sized sound. If you’ve ever cared about the DIY, experimental, noisier side of the Bay, or just want to see what a real independent music community looks like when it comes together, then this is one of those rare moments where everything comes together. That’s why this is White Crate’s Show of the Week. LABEL: @ratskinrecords VENUE: First Church of the Buzzard Link in bio for more #bayareamusic by #bayareamusicians
