Tulsa Pathways, thank you.

This program gave me a community that I dreamt of. Helping students grow, seeing our team evolve, and witnessing the joy that came from the work gave this experience more meaning than I ever expected. What started as just two student creatives grew into a team of fifteen, and it’s a journey I’ll never forget. That journey became my “why.”

Creating for our athletes changed my perspective. It stopped being about likes or impressions and became about something real—helping families feel closer, telling stories that matter, and giving athletes moments they can hold onto. That meant more than anything.

And at the heart of all of this are the student creatives. The late nights, the long hours, the constant pressure to deliver - this work depends on them. While strategy may come from our supervisors, the execution, the storytelling, and the final product rely heavily on the students. Watching that level of dedication, growth, and pride in the work is something I’ll always carry with me. I’m grateful to have built this alongside them.

To the supervisors I had the privilege of working with (Ellen, Dani, KJ, and Conner), each of you has shaped who I am and how I carry myself. I’m incredibly grateful that you chose Tulsa and that you chose to invest in us as student creatives. Because of you, this program has a foundation to continue growing and succeeding. To the supporters at TU, your encouragement and support meant more than I often showed. It gave me the push to keep going, even on the days I was exhausted. And finally, thank you to Patsy for introducing me to this program and for continuing to build it into what it is today.

This journey taught me patience, trust, and purpose. It reminded me that everything happens for a reason. And I’m grateful this was mine.
