I’m marrying my best friend

I’ve waited far to long for this moment, and everyone who ever asked always heard the words “I’m going to marry that girl” come out of my mouth, and I’m excited to share that I am

I love you Ashley 🖤

Reality CHECK! 🫣

There’s one quote that sums up the effects of overbuying flowers after you’ve put in the significant work it takes to engage, acquire, and finalize a proposal with a client.

Wanna know what it is?

I know you do. Here’s the truth!

“It doesn’t matter how much you charge if you overbuy!” - Alison Ellis @realflowerbusiness

Check out the real life example 👆

The large negative difference and the projected profit margin on flowers of 49% in this event is the direct result of overbuying flowers a.k.a overfilling recipes!

When you use EveryStem to build your recipes, you can quickly course correct when you see your Summary Page difference or your individual recipe difference become negative and change color from black to copper!

You can work towards the goal of ZERO negative difference, hit your profit margin goals 🥅, and see significant change in the amount of wasted flowers at the end of each event.

EveryStem member Hylary @handjflowers started out with some negative differences and lower than ideal profit margins on her first few EveryStem events. Since then she has worked on adjusting her recipes and pricing to ensure she hits her ideal profit margin on every event! She trusts the process and is seeing RESULTS!

Last week Barbara @tumbleweedpasadena had this to say about the positive difference using EveryStem is having on her business.

“I started this year determined to increase my profit by staying disciplined, in my case specifically stop overbuying. Everystem has helped enormously and I’m seeing it in my bank account.”

So if you’d prefer to see dollars in the bank over flowers in the trash after each event, start using EveryStem regularly like Alison, Hylary, and Barbara!

Because if you do I know it will make a positive impact on your business too!

And if you’re regularly using EveryStem and are experiencing the positive effects in your business, pop a comment in the post. I’d love to know about it! 👇🌸💕

SAVE this! Because it’s the ultimate checklist for non-negotiable costs and fees for floral designs!

Every design you sell can be PROFITABLE if you make it a priority!

When you underestimate costs you easily underprice your designs.

Instead of underpricing, quickly think through all the costs in your arrangement with this handy checklist as you determine your price!

Better yet, combine this checklist with EveryStem florist software as your go-to pricing tool. It will change the game for your business!

Recently Lauren had this to say about her transformation from underestimating costs to pricing for a profit with EveryStem-

“EveryStem has been truly game-changing for me. I can’t believe how much I underestimated the costs beforehand! …I’m so thankful for how positively it’s impacted my business!”

-Lauren @bissettblooms

And just yesterday Barbara had this to say-

“I started this year determined to increase my profit by staying disciplined, in my case specifically stop over buying. Everystem has helped enormously and I’m seeing it in my bank account!”

-Barbara @tumbleweedpasadena

So tap SAVE to refer back to this checklist often and start using EveryStem regularly to make a healthy profit on every arrangement you sell!

You can do it. And I’m here to support you as you go!
🌸💕- LuAnn

Tonight we had the opportunity to cater for a women’s initiative for Munger, Tolles & Olsen Law Firm. We decked out the back yard of a beautiful Victorian style home in the heart of Pasadena! On the menu tonight we have artful and delicious grazing stations with marinated feta, beet hummus, homemade peptic pesto and an extensive array of cheese, charcuterie and seasonal accoutrements. Later we’ll be serving grilled flat iron steak with brown butter and herbs, Mediterranean braised Chicken, creamy mashed potatoes and bountiful platters of seasonal roasted veggies from our local farmers market! 🤤
