Mung (Kenn S)

I’ve been spending a lot of time at this location recently, I walk my dog there most days. I needed a good reason to shoot there, to do it justice.

I found a reason and I think we did it justice.

Thanks to everyone who got involved and contributed their time, input and energy.

Femme Fatale Series
Look 2 - This look instantly recalls the drama and glamour of a 90s South African album cover. Reminiscent of the bold energy of Lebo Mathosa & Kelly Khumalo.

This week, we spotlight the stylist behind the series, @tumelo.pm Take a peep as she lets us in.

So keen to share the images we created in this Femme Fatale series. It was a pleasure to work with an all-female team — we truly co-directed each shot, and the flow and energy of this shoot were just perfect.

Look 1 — The cheetah print look was our lead shot. The intention was to play with contrast lighting and warm hues to create an old-school feel. Styling and makeup were heavily inspired by the 90s vixens who exuded sexiness with class.
