I got this tattoo not only because I love Spider-Man, but it's also a tribute to my friend Cyle. He got a very similar tattoo as this on his 18th birthday, a tattoo which I took him to get and paid half for as his birthday gift. Unfortunately, Cyle took his own life a few years ago, so this is my way of remembering him. Many thanks to @tummtats and @goldenponytattoo
for working with me on this.

(If someone you know is struggling with depression or suicidal thoughts, please check on them. And if you yourself are struggling, please call 988 or 1-800-273-TALK. It's okay to need help.)

Today, August 29th, marks 2 years since the first tattoo was done inside @goldenponytattoo Two years of learning, growing, making mistakes and having the absolute time of my life. In such a short amount of time we’ve been able to make ourselves known in the ‘burbs. A real community tattoo shop, that takes care of its neighbors. Just like I’d always imagined. It hasn’t been easy but, holy shit, has it been fun. Thanks to everyone who trusts us to permanently alter your body. Anniversary party in October - because we love Halloween.

Nick (@tummtats) finished his 100th free tattoo today. Proud is an understatement. He shows up everyday and handles everything asked of him. He listens, he asks questions and he’s improved significantly.
.
The apprenticeship is far from over, but the next step means bigger tattoos at apprentice rates. Pay attention to his page for updates on what’s next!
.
Way to go, dude. Excited to watch you continue to grow and learn. Thanks for your continued commitment to @goldenponytattoo

One of our favorite weddings of last year, this one I still think about often. My team braved the wind and rain and when it came time for ceremony the weather couldn’t have been more perfect. With stunning delphinium, clematis and locally grown dahlias it was a true dream.
