THANKSGIVING SERVICE
‎WITH REV TUNDE PHILLIPS
‎
‎27th September,2026.
‎
‎Ephesians 3:21 TPT
‎
‎God inhabits the Heavens and He has given the earth to you.
‎
‎God is not going to do for you what He has authorised you to do.
‎
‎Declare - I take responsibility
‎
‎We receive promises from God through faith and patience (doing things for God and people out of love)
‎
‎If you believe and pray, you can get anything
‎
‎We cannot profess faith and be unwilling to take mountains
‎
‎Whatever your heart desires to do is what God will do.
‎
‎Declare - I have too much money
‎
‎Matthew 21:21- 22 NKJV

Two weeks ago I walked.
4 years of me vs me, and God kept showing up anyway.
I doubted. I stalled. I almost quit.
He didn’t.
To my parents, my sister, my family, you carried me when I couldn’t carry myself.
I’m not the same person I was walking in. And that’s on Him.
All glory to God. Always.

If you told freshman-year me this would happen, I wouldn’t have believed you.
Honestly? I don’t know what to say.
6 awards at awards night and I’m still trying to wrap my head around it.

I started with doubts, setbacks, and moments where I honestly wasn’t sure I’d make it through. But God proved Himself faithful every single time.

Through the late nights, the failures, the restarts, He showed me that nothing is impossible, and with God all things are possible. There’s always a light at the end of the tunnel.

Awards received:
* Best graduating student in the department of Communication and Multimedia Design
* Best graduating student in the School of Arts and Science
* President’s Award for Leadership
* Best Female Athlete Award
* Leadway Assurance Award for best female graduating student in the School of Arts and Science
* Sam-Mac Associates Award for best graduating student in Communication and Multimedia Design

I didn’t imagine 6. Maybe 3, maybe 4. But 6? That’s God stretching beyond what I prayed for. And the best part, I got to deliver my very own speech🤭

Forever grateful to God first, then to my family for holding me up, my pillar for walking with me, and the instructors/staff who pushed me past what I thought were my limits. Turns out, I was made for more.

This feels ecstatic, but I know it’s just the beginning.

Thursday still feels unreal. 🥹

Banquet night, award in hand for Public Relations Officer, and the final chapter of my AUN journey and time with the Honor society officially closed. I’m honestly still processing it.

Grateful doesn’t even cover it. Thank you God, for seeing me through every step. Thank you family, you’re all in these pictures and you’ve been my anchor through it all. Thank you my pillar, friends, instructors, and everyone who made this journey what it was.

From day one to this moment, it was worth every late night, every event, every lesson.
