You thought the Honda S2000 had space… until you tried fitting a full Haltech setup 🔥
We went all in:
✅ Haltech Nexus S2
✅ Plug & Play adapter for S2000
✅ Wideband O2
✅ IAT sensor relocated into the intake
Custom ECU mounts, multiple aluminum prototypes, templates… hours of pain in this tiny engine bay. Small car? Nah — microscopic is an understatement 😂 Hands bleeding, back destroyed, but we made it fit perfectly.
Shoutout to the legends @tunkkadyno who came through and lit it up on the dyno with our S2K map! Then @kosmaccarcare from KCC gave it that mirror polish finish ✨
This S2000 is finally ready to go back to its owner… and my body is thanking me already.
Would you daily a car this tight to work on?

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

We are excited to announce a new partnership in the field of mapping and tuning original ECUs.
We've teamed up with @vandrieperformance , one of the leading firms renowned for creating high-quality maps for stock ECUs.

A wide range of options will be available, from Stage 1 maps to fully custom maps tailored to your needs.

While visiting their headquarters, we took the opportunity to equip our Honda Civic Type R FK8 with a custom track-day map.

Here's what was done:
Custom maps:
– Comfort mode : 337.1hp / 422.6Nm
– Sport mode : 361.4hp / 443.5Nm
– R+ mode : 397.5hp / 507.9Nm
Start/stop system eliminated
Launch control improved
Throttle response enhanced
All factory safety features retained (MAF, knock sensor, etc.) – no parameters eliminated
Power figures could have been higher, but we prioritized a track-safe map to chase lap times, not dyno numbers.

For all inquiries, please email us at info@koshirgarage.com.
All mapping will be performed on @tunkkadyno

Comparison of Biesse vs. V3P ECU Maps for Honda Civic Type R FK8, V3P R+ map.

Biesse map was the same in all modes.

HONDA S2000 PROJECT
We got this car in workshop with customer complaining about loosing power every time he push it little harder than usual, we offered him first service of finding problem on dyno instead of blind changing parts ( customer suggestion ), since on dyno we figured out what customer complaint about, after couple runs power went down by a lot, changing ecu to our s2k's p&p @haltechecu Elite 1500 unit and we found out that water temp. was the reason for power loss, we showed him max power with stock ECU and power with mapped Elite ECU, it gained couple hp with hood open just to get feeling of power diff. .
After debate we installed him Haltech Elite1500 + wideband O2 + multigauge and customer changed radiator for Koyo one and instead of fake thermostat we got him genuine Honda one. So water temps now sorted and monitoring done and we go to dyno and got 242,8hp and 211,2Nm but now cause weird honda intake for air we had air temp 70-80°C.
So next project was installation of KOSHIR GARAGE S2K cf snorkel and proper oil cooling and all the mods needed to install those new items...meanwhile customer destroyed cat so we had to open that one to check dyno numbers again...
Like we always say > all can be proven and tested on dyno - dyno don't lie...
New numbers were astonished for mods car has...tons of midrange torque and higher numbers all around ☆ 253,9hp and 220,3Nm ☆
so crazy improvement all around for this S2000 !

We have now very very satisfied customer/friend 🤝

Collab with @tunkkadyno

DYNO:
> thin line is stock ECU
> mid line first time map with Haltech items
> top line, all mods done and mapped again for new items 😃

Finally dynoed my car at tunkkadyno. Pretty satisfied with figures, 475 Nm and 320 Hp. Torque curve showed a few minor difficulties wich have to be solved for smoother curve. Thanks to Jasmin Muhic and Ernest Pancur.

another day, another test at @tunkkadyno

Ernest searching for missing ponies in this E36 S54 > car had 374hp on dyno when out of workshop and straight strapped to dyno 2 year ago, two days ago and after months of waiting for parts from BMW car showed only 342hp, question marks were all over the place 🤔 we didn't touch the electronics side of engine and no mechanic side that could do anything with this power loss...
after a hard debate fuel came up to our minds...looks like the fuel was in car for like 7-8 mnths ( it always ran on 100 octane )

Ernest drained the old fuel and refill with fresh 100 octane,
and missing ponies 🐎 are back 374.9hp

☆ test and research is everything, that was a tricky one, yeah you could expect 10-15hp loss from old fuel, but damn 33hp > that is a wild one ...
