This past weekend, Off Track had the privilege of representing the Mid-Atlantic region at the ICCA finals in NYC for a second consecutive year! I am so beyond happy I could both experience and be part of something so incredible again with a group I hold so close to my heart.

We didn't come home with any tangible awards, but in the last few months especially, I've realized that what we can't hold in the palms of our hands always seems to be what we hold onto the strongest. (bars) Winning is only part of the whole. The relationships I've built with friends, the new connections made along the way, the ability to not only show the world all the hard work we've poured months of our lives into but to witness what others have to offer as well—a trophy isn't enough to satisfy these victories. To me, doing justice to what artistic expression is about is arguably the greatest win there is.

Thank you @tuofftrack for giving me the creative outlet I'd been looking for. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about how fortunate I am to have ended up in a group like this. You help me be the best version of myself I could imagine, as a performer and as a person. I can't wait to see what comes next🫶

This experience was unforgettable! I met such sweet and incredible people. I am so proud of the set we created. OFFTRACK is such an important part of my life and I am so proud of us. I love you all✨️🧡

11 years ago I saw my first acapella concert at UMD. It changed my life forever. Since then i always wanted to be in an acapella group. @umdfauxpaz and @dacadence_umd were a pivotal part of my teenage years. I am still in shock that I performed and competed with such talented groups. Thank you to all who have helped me along the way. Shout out to @crystalvocalarts for being so loving and always being there for me. I love you so much💙💚
