Pt. 2 of 2. Most people don’t just wake up one day and want to become a writer. This skater told me how he went from hating it in school, to becoming an English major full time! What he said about learning how to express himself through the process really surprised me. So, whether you’re a creative just dabbling in writing or a full time student, this one’s for you!

2024 Recap and Statement Part 1

2024 was a year of receiving flowers, even though my mission has never depended on recognition, but lasting..

My focus remains on moving forward and achieving goals, whether acknowledged or not.

For years, I’ve given the shirt off my back, often neglecting my own needs, but this past year was about balance—about showing the best of Atlanta, whether in the hood, boardrooms, or speakeasies.

Preserving the culture that makes this city special has always been the mission. Someone had to do it.

In 2025, I’m leaning into self-love, nurturing my inner child and healing, and continuing the journey toward financial freedom, even after several resets. Sometimes, I underestimate my power and strength in shaping trends, creating change, and serving the community—but there are those who remind me.

This year, let’s analyze what worked and what didn’t. Let’s move toward feeling better about ourselves, creating more safe spaces, and owning our contributions to the culture.

From running with the youth of Atlanta on BMX bikes, capturing stories through photography, mentoring the next generation of creatives, designing for the future of streetwear, and shaping social architecture to build stronger communities, my work is rooted in versatility and inclusivity.

In an increasingly toxic creative culture and with the rise of artificial intelligence reshaping industries, the question is: how do we sustain our livelihoods while staying authentic to our craft?

The answer lies in doubling down on what makes us human—innovation, emotional connection, and a relentless commitment to originality.

Chilly-O Culture Co. will continue to thrive by building, preserving, and innovating across industries that make us us. The best is yet to come.

-Chilly-O
