EVOLVE STEELBOOK

Never had the chance to play this game but the idea was fantastic and I love the steelbook. One of the hinges are broken but until I find a better one this will stay in my collection. Developed by @turtlerockstudios and published by @2k

This pvp game pits a monster(you) that keeps evolving if alive long enough against 4 friends

Any ideas on how to fix plastic hinges for steelbooks?

With all the excitement around @summergamefest, we’re throwing it back to one of our favorite SGF trailers from years past- @back4blood. A TBT for B4B if you will 😉 This project was one of our favorites to work on!🩸

Finishing off the casual replay of the last DLC campaign and again, in general, more of a good thing makes for an entertaining playthrough, but similar to revisiting the first DLC, several flaws and disappointments that wish the support for the game as a whole went out with a bigger bang. So first off, the finale is better than the previous expansion but does feel like it should have been the second half of Children of the Worm, especially thematically. Also, again, just never really dug the new cleaner again cause the unlockable support is very minimal and the new bow weapon is just not a terribly viable option compared to the normal weapon loadouts. Also, in terms of the actual levels, layouts and encounters, there is a general hint of jank that makes parts of this final act feel unpolished. So similar to when my friend group originally knocked out this final DLC, it’s a fine experience as an epilogue of sorts but a bittersweet on how underwhelming the final resolution feels, again in comparison to the main campaign. Here’s hoping Turtle Rock continues with a follow up to the IP in the future 🧟‍♀️🦠🩻

Continuing with the DLC and as much as it hits with it being more of a good thing, it also does have some disappointing lows, mainly in a vacuum how underwhelming and unresolved the ending is. The other main disappointment is just never really vibed with the new cleaner especially when it comes to how unsupported his unlockable aesthetics were. But some of the good unique additions are definitely addition of the cult medium enemies added to the RNG pool, although still surprised the cleaners never got cult gear aesthetics to unlock. All in all, super casual easy breezy replay but not without it’s flaws especially compared to the main campaign 👥🦠🧟‍♂️
