I don't know that I can tag them all. But I am humbled by the experience of being a DGF National Fellow. Tonight has been a dream come true and I'm so grateful for all that has been and all that will be. My heart is full. I am grateful.

Am I in hell? Or standing inside a Detroit-style pizza?

No, I was at San Diego Writers, Ink's annual Blazing Laptops fundraiser, where we raised 14k+ to support literary arts programming!

Also, I NEED this gumball poetry machine!

A free concert festival if you’re in the area (El Cajon). The emeritus program offers free classes to older adults and is showcasing their students’ talent. This is the first year they’ve invited two poets to participate. I’ll read a poem or two this Saturday after the first intermission. #sdccd #sandiegopoetry #sandiegopoetryannual #sdwritersink #sandiegowritersink

I participated in a poetry and prose reading this past weekend at a Reading and Zine Fest sponsored by San Diego Writers, Ink at the Valencia Park/Malcolm X Branch of the San Diego Public Library. I was honored with accolades from Judy Reeves, cofounder of SDWI who regularly lectures for the organization. Thanks to Thelma de Castro for organizing the event and extending the invitation to read. And it was great to see Trixi Agyao who performed in the dance theatre production that featured my writing last June. #sandiegowritersink #sdpubliclibrary #sandiegopubliclibrary #poetryreading #writinglife
