Been wanting to source from India for a while now, handmade textiles, brasswork, hand painted ceramics. It finally happened this year! 🥹

The goal for this trip is really to see what’s out there, be inspired, then go home, process everything, brainstorm, and plan our next collections. Then start ordering. Yehey!! 🤍

Expos like this give you thousands of supplier options, but finding the right one is always the key. 🔑 Who’s the person behind the business? Are they easy to talk to? Do they understand what you’re trying to create?

And then there’s the MOQ 😂 Can they work with 10 pieces? 100? Or are we talking a thousand?

So many possibilities, but finding someone who can grow with you is a big part of sourcing, too.

Wanted to look cute the first day so wore this kitten heels. Luckily my feet survived, barely 😅

What I love about this expo is getting to deal directly with manufacturers. You can talk through your ideas and what’s actually possible.

The question is… kaya ba natin ang quantities? 😂

Really enjoyed talking to the owners of this booth. So many of the businesses we’ve met are already in their 2nd or 3rd gen and have been doing this for decades.

Praying mine lasts that long too and that my future second gen wants to continue it HAHAHA 😂

My lovey devoured this short rib, and this other dish (i forgot the name) was sooo good too!!

This dessert sampler was exactly what we needed. When travelling,matakaw talaga ako (hindi lng pala while traveling).🤣 I always wish we had enough people to order one of everything.

So this was perfect. Basically got to try the whole dessert menu lol.

Had to walk off all the calories. And date2 after a long sourcing day.

Made it into the mart magazine! Yay!! 🥹 One of the suppliers i spoke too actually told me about it. What I found so interesting is that they print and send this out to exhibitors daily, with news from the day before. A little reminder that print is still very much alive, and people really do read it 😂🤍

A little recap of MIDS Day 2: Showroom Tour ✨

So many showrooms to explore, so little time. The day was filled with reconnecting with familiar faces, meeting new ones, and getting the chance to have quick chats with the designers behind the work. It was such a fulfilling and productive day, all in the best way possible. 🤍

I’m already looking forward to next year’s MIDS, but I’m curious — which showroom would you like to visit? 🍃

Ahhh It’s already Christmas at Twenty Third! 🎄✨ We’ve been working on the cutest ornaments, stockings, and little Christmas pieces for our Holiday Shop, and I can’t wait to share them with you!

Jos decorated the space so beautifully that we just had to share it! 🥹 So we’ve decided to open it for professional family Christmas shoots on October 23–25. Slots will open soon! 📸🤍

Some pieces become more than just something you bring home.

For @deanneashleylim, the Turkish Vintage Pillow Collection holds a very special place in the story of Twenty Third. It takes us back to where it all began, to the very first country that inspired the collection, to the early days of an idea, and to the friends, family, and loved ones who believed in it along the way.

What started with a few vintage rugs and a little dream grew into something much bigger, shaped by people, places, memories, and moments that could never be recreated the same way twice.

And perhaps that’s what makes these pieces so meaningful. Each one carries a story of its own, with its worn textures, old patterns, and years of history already woven into it.

As we come to the very last of our Turkish Vintage Pillow Collection, we’re reminded that some things are worth holding onto. Not because they are new, but because they already have a story to tell.

This is the final collection. Once these pieces find their homes, they won’t be coming back.

A little piece of where Twenty Third began, from the very first place that inspired it, waiting to become part of your story.
