Before Basic, I doubted myself more than I admitted. I was scared, uncomfortable, emotional, and honestly didn’t know if I was strong enough for everything ahead of me. But somewhere between the early mornings, long days, exhaustion, discipline, and growth... I found a version of myself I never knew existed.
Basic Training didn’t just change how I look - it changed my mindset, my confidence, and the way I carry myself. I left home uncertain, and I came back stronger mentally, physically, and emotionally.
Crazy what can happen when you stop limiting yourself and just keep going. 🇺🇸 #armypride

but... I LOVE friendly fishing challenges ✊🏽😂, so I decided to actually walk down the bank, and didn’t even take me 10 casts to be able to yank a solid lil bass out the water!

I took an avid @fashionnova shopper 👗👠 kayaking & fishing 💪🏽😳.
I really didn’t know how this day would turn out 🤷🏽‍♂️ considering I knew Nye is a city girl, so I made sure everything was packed 🧳 and ready for our 1.5hr road trip to Blewett Falls Lake.
Originally we was going to be catfishing out of the kayak, but had to switch up tactics to fit her needs 🤔.
So we drove down to the Pee Dee River to do some multi species fishing 🎣 from the bank, to my surprise she pulled out a baby stripped bass 🙌🏽😳!
It’s not the size of the fish, but the experience you have catching it 💪🏽😌!
She was extremely ecstatic 🎊 to catch her first fish by herself, but wasn’t quite ready to touch it just yet 🤷🏽‍♂️😂.
You can take the girl out of the city but you can’t take the city out of the girl ✊🏽😂.
@twinfordtuff is A1 though 👊🏽, she’ll get there sooner or later 💪🏽.
