Had an action-packed and fun-filled day yesterday with my gal pals at the @womenshow for a belated birthday celebration. We watched shows, made crafts, and shopped till we dropped. Then we capped off the day with a fabulous dinner at @nightingalerest.

Learned how to make traditional Japanese confectionary used in tea ceremonies w the lovely @m_tokyo_confectionery . We wrapped Nerikiri dough around bean paste and attempted to shape them in Easter treats.

Running my small business continues to be a rewarding learning experience for me. I am a one-woman show juggling many hats.

Although I definitely need to work on my IG presence (I had 6 shows this year and barely advertised for any of them), I’m happy with the growth I’ve accomplished, especially in the last 6 months.

I had a show this past weekend and it was my best show to date. My sales were 5x more than any other show I did this year. It’s like I finally got my groove after learning from my mistakes at my previous shows. I have new found confidence and am looking forward to going onward and upward.

Special shout-out to my maker friends @twdesignsyvr and @twinkleminiatures who helped me out last weekend. I offered custom hand-stamped ornaments at the show and I couldn’t have handled that plus handling customers at the same time on my own. My friends are rock-stars ❤️
