🐕 Come see how I designed this beautiful burgundy Zellige tile dog bath in the laundry room 😍 We have 2 little Shih tzu’s pups 🐶 🐶 and we love it when they are nice and clean. I designed this so it’s at an ideal height for an adult, no bending over or awkward reaching so it won’t hurt your back. It has a detachable shower head as well for easy washing and also below the bath is a perfect place for their food and water so it’s out of the kitchen. There will be a pot filler to easily fill up their water bowl. I’m so happy how it turned out 🤗 #dogbath #dreamhome #laundryroom #interiordesign #zellige

🫣 🤩 Come watch us install our our 1500lb marble bathtub! When I was researching this on the internet there really wasn’t very many videos or tips and tricks on this kind of installation! Even our plumber and our marble fabricator had never done anything like this, so we had to think outside the box a little. I think the important thing is having a solid foundation, also the type of flooring, this is solid granite flooring that is almost and inch thick, I’m not sure porcelain would be able to handle this kind of weight. Also, get 5 or 6 strong guys to help and industrial suction grips able to withstand this type of weight. Thankfully everything went so smooth today! Can’t wait to take a bath in my new tub 💞 #marblebathtub #dıy #construction #plumbing #marble

🧺 😍 Marble checkered floors are all the rage right now and I’m here for it! They are both timeless and beautiful. I love using natural elements throughout this modern organic home. In the video it looks more black and white, but they’re actually a dark gray and white marble flooring 😍 This will be the laundry room, there will be an island in the center of the room, a sink under the window and cabinets flanking the sides with a double washer and dryer, a dog bath and a built-in cat litter door tile done by the amazing @alpharemodelers 🙌🏻#interiordesign #laundryroom #checkeredfloor #organicmodern #tileideas

It’s been a minute, so let’s do a quick custom home build update! 🛠️
The last few months as an owner builder have been an absolute whirlwind, but we are finally seeing our interior design vision come to life. We officially finished up all the drywall painting (goodbye, endless dust!) which completely changed the natural light in here.
But the absolute biggest game-changer was installing our ceiling beams. Adding that architectural detail completely transformed the scale of the room and gave us that cozy, custom home character we’ve been dreaming of.
We are officially moving into the finish carpentry and fixture phase next! Which update are you most excited to see come together? Drop your questions about the drywall, paint or beam install below! 👇 #ceilingbeams #ownerbuilder #customhomebuilder #drywall #ourbuildingjourney

❤️ 🏡 I just realized we have never introduced ourselves to people on the gram that don’t know us personally so here is a little bit about us, the family behind Orchard_ranch_house 💕 We are the Burns family, John @johnburns.jr and Tiffany @twinstimes2. We have 2 sets of boy/girl twins that are 21 yrs old and 12 years old and we live in Arizona. We love laughing and sarcasm, country concerts, watching our kids play sports, traveling (especially quick weekend getaways to Mexico🇲🇽) hanging out with friends and family! We have always had a dream of building our own home, managing it and designing it all ourselves and sourcing almost EVERY SINGLE THING on this house from overseas. So far we imported five 40’ containers and we have a 6th one almost ready to ship. John has 20 year background in sourcing and importing so he is very experienced in this aspect of our project, but that does not mean it hasn’t been stressful or without hiccups 🫠 it is not for the faint of heart ♥️ that’s for sure!! Follow along, we are on the homestretch of our build and it’s about to get even more exciting as all the finishes are installed 🙌🏻
