Every dollar helps Peach State Rescue provide critical veterinary care, rescue dogs from euthanasia lists, transport animals to safety, support foster families, and help families keep the pets they love.

There’s a reason a few days in the mountains can leave you feeling different!🌲

You wake up with natural light instead of an alarm.
You drink your coffee outside.
You walk through the trees.
You hear water moving over rocks.
You move your body without thinking of it as a workout.
You sit around a fire long enough for the conversation to get good.

And research increasingly suggests that these simple moments in nature are associated with better well-being, lower stress, restored attention, and other positive health outcomes.

One large study found that spending at least 120 minutes a week in nature was associated with better self-reported health and well-being.

So maybe a mountain getaway isn’t an indulgence. Maybe it’s a chance to step away from the constant noise, reconnect with your surroundings, and give your mind a little room to breathe.

Consider this your reminder to make some time for nature. 😉

Blues, BBQ, Blue Ridge... What more do you need? 🎶🌲

This weekend, Downtown Blue Ridge is turning up the volume for the 15th annual Blue Ridge Blues & BBQ Festival. 🍖

But here’s our suggestion: don’t just come for Saturday. Make a weekend of it! 😎

Kick things off Friday with the Blues Train & Block Party or BBQ at Old Toccoa Farm. Then spend Saturday eating your way through the BBQ vendors, catching live blues from five incredible bands, and letting the kids enjoy the festival activities downtown.

And when the day is done?
Come back to the mountains, slip into the hot tub, pour yourself something good, and let the weekend slow down!

We still have two cabins available:
🌲 Timber And Glass — Sept 16–23
@timber_and_glass_aframe
🌲 Blue Ridge Vista — Sept 17–19
@blueridgevistacabin

Your festival plans are sorted. Now you just need somewhere to stay.

💬 Comment BLUES if you’re making a weekend of it! 🎸

Labor Day weekend is calling… and we think it sounds better with mountain air! 🇺🇸🌲

If you’re still deciding what to do with the long weekend, Blue Ridge makes it pretty easy.

Swipe through to see what’s happening around the mountains this Labor Day weekend! 👀

And honestly? You don’t have to fill every hour.

Some of the best Labor Day memories might be the ones that happen back at the cabin:

Coffee with the doors open to the mountains.
A long afternoon in the hot tub.
Dinner outside.
A golden-hour drink on the deck.
And a fire after dark with nowhere else to be. 🙌

The long weekend won’t last forever. You might as well make it count!
