Costume Check: How’s your ART AFTER DARK fit coming along?

Last Friday at Street Level x Art Walk, we kicked off costume-making with free found treasures, including a few extra special pieces donated by our lovely neighbor, @bubsstudio! Check out our recap and see what folks are making.

Those upcycled treasures could help you compete for Best Upcycled Design, one of three ART AFTER DARK costume competition categories to be judged by puppet works master Tania Yager and fashion icon Jan Arnold, plus a third judge to be revealed. Design your costume around the categories or do your own thing, participation is completely optional:

- Best Upcycled Design
- Best Interpretation of David Adey’s Sacrificial Bodies
- Best Interpretation of the Theme: Anatomy of the Surreal

Now it’s your turn: Are you already deep in costume mode, just getting started, or still waiting for inspiration to strike? Find more inspiration on our Pinterest board at bit.ly/OMAsurreal, and share your progress in the comments (or tag us in a video)!
