As this year comes to a close, I just want you to take a moment to acknowledge hiw far you've come along.

If you’ve made it this far through recovery, uncertainty, grief, growth, or simply getting through the days, that matters.

This year hasn’t been easy for many in the stroke community, but showing up, even on the hard days, is something to be proud of.

To all stroke survivors, caregivers and their loved ones, Thank you for being part of this community.

From my family to yours, I want to wish you a very Merry Christmas 🎅🌲

May this season bring you moments of rest, connection, and peace however that looks for you.💫🎁

I’m so excited to bring our gal into this incredible family + girl gang 💕Thank you to everyone who helped plan + came to celebrate and shower us with love. This is a chart I began after attending the @strengthafterstroke zoom & taking notes on all the positive qualities I hoped to absorb from the spectacular guest, Tom Broussard, Jr, PhD. (See original promo post in pic 2)(...You'll also see him in an upcoming PIFM...)(...You'll also see him quoted in an upcoming @stroke_mom Stroke Awareness Month/May 2022 post...) I decided to start an excel file to keep track of positive traits in my friends that I hope to emulate. (...actually J-Humps & WOH made the excel file for me, and put their two cents in about @avm_superhero as an example.) It is a perpetual file, thusly, I will never complete it. Do you see your name on this list? It should/will be, because you are reading this. If you're curious to know your 'three things,' DM me & I'll tell you, which will in turn help me update my list 📝
(How do I plan to 'use' this list? I'll tell you: in past years I've been reading and noticing ONE commonality amongst successful, in ANY profession, people - they all get up at 5a.m. Now, because I am 'extra' (#HiDef you might say 😉) and an overachiever, I get up at 4a.m. (...also because I am a Strokie and it takes me exactly 4 times longer, yes, I timed myself, to do each and every task throughout the day and if I hope to maybe successfully complete life that day, I have to start hours earlier than normals...)(Plus, I'm a SAHM & have had to get up extra-early since WOH was born)
