Happy 11-year teaching anniversary to ME, MYSELF & I 🥂

Thousands of classes taught. Even more attended. And a whole lot of growth since the girl who first started teaching. Swipe to see some throwbacks…

11 years in, and I know there are still SO many instructors I want to learn from. I feel like I’m just getting started.

I’ll never pretend to know it all. But I can guarantee you’ll leave my class feeling better than when you walked in, and hopefully that feeling carries you to your next workout, even if it isn’t with me.

If you see yourself as a future instructor, ask yourself WHY. If it’s about something bigger than your own ego, do it. Be ready to show up with a smile on your worst days, stay humble, and never think you know it all or that your way is the best way.

We’ve glamorized becoming an instructor so much that people forget this job is NOT just being on stage and making a fire playlist. Some people think what we do isn’t that deep, but IT IS THAT DEEP!!!

An instructor’s job is to create an experience that serves the people in the room, WHATEVER their reason for being there. It’s not our job to decide what someone needs from that experience. That’s for them to define.

The last 11 years have been full of change like a MF. I’ve been lucky enough to have incredible mentors and people who believed in me, challenged me, and opened doors for me throughout my journey in this industry. I wouldn’t be where I am today without those people, and I hope I can pay that forward to others.

Through every season, the good, the bad, and everything in between, I can honestly say I STILL LOVE THIS. Putting on that headset and creating an experience for people is something I’ve never gotten sick of.

Thank you to every single person who has ever walked through the doors of my classes. Without YOU, there is no me. 🫶🏼

So… does 11 years officially solidify OG status or what?!
