☕️ Danielson is about to get a LOT more coffee.

Two Dogs Coffee Shop is expanding its cafe at 157 Main Street in Danielson, taking over the vacant retail space next door.

📐 The numbers:
The current cafe is about 800 sq. ft.
The expansion adds another 1,600 sq. ft.
That means the shop will grow to roughly 2,400 sq. ft. — triple its current size.

🐶 What’s coming:
More seating, an expanded food menu with new sandwiches and entrees, and additional space for classes, events and community gatherings.

🏗️ Why this matters locally:
Two Dogs only opened its Danielson shop in 2024, so seeing a young local business already expanding — while putting vacant downtown retail space back into use — is a pretty cool sign for Main Street.

And they’re not stopping there. Two Dogs has also announced plans for a second location at the Crossings at 345 redevelopment in Norwich, inside the former YMCA property.

☕️ Would you like to see more businesses expanding in downtown Danielson?

Wrapping up a busy and successful summer at Stabach Architects with a special farewell dinner for our intern Emily at Marker 37 tonight! 🥂

It’s been a great season filled with exciting projects, including Wood-n-Tap Wallingford, Lux Bond & Green Mystic, Reliance Wealth Management, The Main Pub, Two Dogs Coffee, and Nana’s Dim Sum & Dumplings.

We’re so grateful for all the hard work and creativity that made this summer as successful as it was. Wishing Emily all the best, and we’re excited for everything the fall will bring!
