Top sounds of a spring in the Catskills 🌧️👧🏻🏕️🎣 Shoulder season is becoming my favorite time to get away. (Anglers know what’s up.) But really, it’s the surprise of weather I love most. Is anyone else exhausted by our relentless forecast chatter? The constant planning to only do things in the perfect not too hot not too cold not too wet not too dry kind of day? Maybe because it’s June 1st and our Maine gardens are still soggy and cold and I’m trying to remember each day is a gift. I wouldn’t want to waste it by worrying about the weather.

@twogoodcabins delivering on the indoor and outdoor coziness no matter what the skies are giving.

Also: “Don’t Trust Fish,” by Neil Sharpson is our favorite kids book right now. I wouldn’t say it calms kids down before bedtime but worth it for the giggle fits.

I’m 33 and couldn’t be less interested in dating at this point in my life.

People may think it’s sad that I’m in my 30’s and single, but what actually makes me sad is looking back on my 20’s and seeing how much I tied my self worth to the relationships (insert: situationships) I was in.

Having just moved upstate, I’m even more excited for summer activities with B. Finally feel like my life is moving in the right direction and this lake house getaway with our besties was the perfect kickoff!

Green • vert // I love that Maine is a “little behind” when it comes to spring blooms. It paces. We really ease into summer up here. I adore the verdant smell of May — the mix of rain and warm dirt and the tease of impending thunderstorms. The markets are bursting with fiddleheads and feathery cosmos. People are outside again, waving to one another, and trying new things.

Verdant is primarily used to describe a landscape, region, or countryside that is green with lush, healthy growing plants or grass. However (and I didn’t know this) it also be used metaphorically to describe a person who is naive, inexperienced, or unsophisticated.

To be green at something can invoke negativity but I challenge to spin this. I love the start of something new. Sensitive seedlings grow into strong plants. Tender roots become grand pines. Reclaim the word green again. Be verdant!

February getaways to the Catskills usually pull people in one of two directions: settling in somewhere warm with a fire and nowhere to be — or planning a ski weekend, with a comfortable home base waiting at the end of the day.

This month’s Escape Club Escapes cover both.

Think legacy inns with fires going all day, quiet cabins made for staying in, and ski-adjacent stays that work just as well for après as they do for early mornings.

Slide through to explore February’s lineup of getaway partners 👉🏻 @thebeaverkillvalleyinn @twogoodcabins @mooncabin.ny @thegrahamandco @themillhouses @seminaryhillny

💕 Member-only booking perks go live today at noon.

The chilly weather in South Florida this morning has me bundled up and ready to get cozy by the fire! Proof that sometimes the best trips are the ones that help you slow all the way down. 🔥☕️

Our stay in the Catskills was everything I needed and more! Cozy mornings by the fireplace with a cup of coffee, long conversations with friends, card games, great wine, and lots of laughter. The kind of weekend that feels equal parts restful and soul-filling 🤍

We spent our days exploring the charming nearby towns strolling through antique shops and our nights fully leaning into cabin life. Highlights included bagels from @grizzlybagels, a fun meal at @thejunctionroscoe (do not skip the world famous fresh trout dip!), and cocktails at the always-cool tavern @theredrosemotel

If you’re craving a destination where you can truly rest, reset, and reconnect with those you love, the Catskills are such an easy and rewarding escape, just two hours outside of NYC and @twogoodcabins is a standout choice! I’m currently in the process of finding a week to check this destination out in the summer! I love helping clients find these kinds of thoughtfully designed stays that make unplugging feel effortless. Luxury travel doesn’t always mean an expensive, 5 star resorts.. finding the perfect place to escape and enjoy with your crew is a big part of what I love to curate!

💌 Reach out if you have something in mind that you’d love to get working on for 2026!
